Neighbor who was outside testifies at trial day 3 for Samantha Woll's alleged killer 

I respect every defense attorney who has defended a client for murder. It’s a tough job and most people can’t do it. However this cross on the neighbor is EXACTLY why people do not want to testify. This attorney was absolutely mischaracterizing this witness’ statements and pushed too hard and I do t see how this would be helpful to the defense.

What does this guy testifying about him hearing a speaker have anything to do with the murder??? The time he was outside makes no difference whatsoever His testimony is as meaningful or meaningless as mine would be if I was out walking at 1:30am in a different country and heard people talking or on the PA system in the distance.

All he had to say is yes, I felt guilty for not checking further. Yes, she’s my neighbor. Yes, I felt guilt. It’s survivors guilt. He’s being way too defensive. It seems all the men in and around Sams life was weird.

I love this guy. He just wanted to do anything he could to HELP! The defense is not very good, he needs to find a better way to get the answers he is wanting instead of being cruel and mis-characterizing the witness. Badgering the witness in my opinion. Juries do not like that, neither do I.
