@@nadine6948 I read somewhere recently that it's only a very small percentage of people who can do the "Dwayne Johnson eyebrow" and I'm actually one of those people. So yay for me.

@@waltersabin8099 my family moved a lot when I was a kid, born in Dallas, moved to Austin for 5 years, moved to Louisiana for 5 years, moved to the Amarillo area for about 5 years then my family moved to Victoria when I was 19 or 20. I’m 42 years old now so I’ve been here 22 years & I can honestly say it’s the rudest, most unwelcoming place I’ve ever been in my life. If you’re not born & raised here these people will NEVER accept you. At first I thought maybe I’m just new & things will get better.. 5 years turned into 10, then 10 turned into 15 & now 22 years and people here are still just as hateful & nasty as they were when my feet first hit the pavement. For years I tried to be a "beacon of light”.. I thought by treating everything better than they treated me would eventually open their eyes & this would become a decent place to live but it didn’t & I’ve since given up. Well more than given up actually, this place and everyone here has gained an enemy in me. And why do I stay? Because over the past 22 years my parents have become elderly & they need me more than ever. But I’m not bringing children into this place so when I die I’m not really gonna care how bad this place is & at this point I’m doing everything in my power to leave it worse than I found it.

Everything sucks here. People are rude & nasty.
