It's like for a few seconds she connected with her inner child next to Mr. Mandela and she was as honest as any other child in front of somebody they love...Beautiful, just BEAUTIFUL! :)
Well done, Nelson Mandela and thanks to Charlize Theron for the wonderful acknowledgment. We miss you but you will for ever remain in our hearts, as those before and after you all over the world.
I couldn't even get near him without getting emotional, I'm not even South African or from any other african country but what this man achieved for humanity in general just touches my heart! Thank you Madiba!
I'm a grown white man in the States and I feel exactly the same way about this man. I don't know how any decent human being could have failed to be deeply humbled in this man's presence.
He was a man who could fight when fighting was needed and knew to unite when uniting was needed. What a legend. I always forget Charlize Theron is from SA because she does a perfect American accent but she was so moved by seeing Mr. Mandela she had me tearing up too. Much love from Columbus, Ohio!
Two beautiful human beings. And now years later, Charlize is still continuing her charity work in South Africa. Madiba left us with a great deal of inspiration and faith in humanity. :')
This was a beautiful moment, I'm proud of the gifts humanity allows us to see. But for the life of me, I don't understand some of the negative comments below. How on earth could Mandela be a racist, slap whomever taught you that. How can one man emerge from that kind of torment and not he bitter? GRACE is the answer.. If you have grace in your heart, you have no room for racism.
I'm not too familiar with the actress but this man was a beacon of hope. He is truly missed!! I didn't appreciate him ENOUGH when he was alive. God Bless!!!
Nelson Mandela is one of a few extraordinary men who ever walk on planet Earth, Great Soul incarnated here to heal and teach about compassion, peace and wisdom. Shambhala brother in da hood!
R.I.P Madiba......a fighter, yet a peacemaker.....the whole world miss you....you are a blessing to this generation ..people like you come once n a long time...sleep well

He was a great leader and 25 yrs did not hold him down at. Great leaders do not have to say to much just talk what he knows and that is what he did GOD blessed him for all he has done on this Earth before he was called home. RIP. Sir.
When you stand next to the greatest man ever you just lose it and cry. Every man and woman in this world would love to have a moment with tata Mandela or stand next to him
Maestro Mandela se te extraña aunque usted está en los cielos junto al reino de dios Gracias por todo por ese legado ejemplar te extraño mucho cada ves que veo un vídeo de su hazaña lloro
I lived in South Africa for five years during the apartheid years (P.W. Botha). Years later an Indian friend argued that Gandhi was a greater man than Mandela. I reminded him that Gandhi asked the whites to leave but Mandela asked the whites to stay!
Anyone with a heart would've teared up. Look at how much hate and suffering we have today. Mandela brought us all together. When I think about Mandela I think about unity and love. I hope unity and love finds us all. I hope we can all forgive each other.
That's odd. I thought she was being genuine and sincere. Just a difference of opinion I suppose. Are you from a part of Africa? Or are you from America? England? Charlize is actually South African. I'm seen many interviews with her. She is very proud of her nationality and of her mother country. Don't mean to bother you. I just think you may have misjudged her.
Tu nous manques et tu nous manqueras jaqu'à la fin des temps et personne n'aura plus d'importance au monde comme. Tu es le plus aimé du monde. Merci pour tes gestes pour l'humanité. Tu nous a sauvé madiba. Stay in peace
I mean, Madiba, come on- amazing individual that he is and just a serious inspiration to mankind and humanity, and Charlize who is such a beautiful person, a wonderfully talented human being with such a huge heart for everyone and everywhere- amazing.
This makes me crying ....im sri lankan but i love Dada so much evan i know little about him .......Greatness, humbllness not a single precedents any country had that Mr. Nelson Mandela 'had .......Im the Captain of my ship...❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you 🙏 Nelson Mandela Foundation Thank you 🙏 Charlize Theron Thank you 🙏 South Africa 🇿🇦 Even though many countries, particularly in the West refuse to observe and learn, behave with the arrogance of bullies and insist on cheating in place of earning, thank you 🙏 for setting an example on: 1. Civility 2. Humbleness 3. Grace 4. Learning and evolving 5. Forgiveness 6. Reconciliation 7. Humility 8. Love 9. Progress 10. Kindness as opposed to the cruelty Harry and my son has received 11. Respect. Especially that of other human beings and families. Not the way Harry and Zayn’s family have been treated by Gigi and her media allies 12. Truth and honesty. Not like how Dua Lipa has ignored the example of the Queen of England 🏴 as she endorses a lie of foreign nationals, forgetting it was Great Britain that made her 13. Trust and honour. Keeping your end of the bargain 14. Equality of all mankind 15. Multiculturalism and thriving to live and work together as different races in the same pot 17. Courage 18. Standing up to bullies no matter who they are and what resources they have 19. Choosing good over evil 20. Doing the right thing by future generations and not selfishly living for this moment 21…. I could go on, but South Africa 🇿🇦 thank you 🙏 for being the REAL shining city at the top of the hill. I thank you 🙏
I wasn't trying to deny it or justify it. I was stating the truth. Sorry. Every part of Africa has been subject to genocide and tribal killings for centuries. Nelson Mandela supports peace, and he has worked hard to leave behind that legacy. He's a great man.
