I used to bump Nemesis back in High School around 1991. I even had a Cerwin Vega 18in Sub woofer hooked up to a HiFonics amp. Pounded the shit out of my car and the neighborhood! The good ol days and this song brings back all those good memories.
15 inch rockford phosgate. Maybe the 2 series but in 1995 it was just a brand new thing. Mazda mx3 hatchbatch. Mickey mouse 300 w pioneer mono D amp. The only reason it sounded so good is because physics phd guy at my college calculated the ported box to be absolutely on point. Eventually as components broke or I got robbed, and really digging physics in college. I now understand sound systems backwards and sideways. Figured out a way to make it real hard work to steal my sh*t. Sucks when one amp needs resoldering but pulling the whole seat out is a lot of work.
Me too big dawg, 4, 12's in a '83 oldsmobile delta 88, back in 1991, trust and believe I ran through some subs bumpin this joint , them rockford & memphis amps where the best for my sound, & kicker subs lasted a year longer than any JL's, I had them all at least twice, kenwood to the punches, & crunches

Please. 90's was cool and all, but my shit hits way harder now. Having 1,500 watts powering 2 12's was unthinkable back then. What's funny is I'm under powering them at 1,500. To think you can buy 12's now that take 5,000 watts RMS! Plus, the cars also look so much better now.

If I recall correctly the album cover had a warning on it. something to the effect of "warning, this song contains extreme bass. we are not responsible for damage to your sound system."
@@herboj1123 I was just about to say still bumping it in 2019 when I used to have a car stereo I had to Fisher 15 home speakers and my ride with a old pyramid amp running them off of my pull out tape deck that I had for years because I bought a Walkman that had the tape adapter to it so you can play CDs in the walkmen and then put tape thing in there so could play CDs because CD players and pull out CD players with too damn expensive

First time hearing this song was at my first Car Audio competition. Fosgate had a van there for Demo purposes - 4-18" comp subs, 3- Punch 1000 Amps- this killed it. Low as hell - felt that shit in my chest. My car came in 3rd place in overall SPL.....Cutlass Supreme with all Urban Audio and Lanzar.
My prime time in life this was my music! This brings back so many memories of high school! And my boyfriend, and my girlfriend and her boyfriend, we were all friends. And he had a banging system in his car, to the point to where you literally vibrated! And he had the ground effects under the car which we loved! Big Al is the guy rapping the first verse. He died a few years back due to heart failure - that's the story I got. I moved from Dallas about 10 years ago, and knew these cats before they were signed to Profile. Al was GENUINELY a cool dude, and he's definitely missed in D-Town.

Ill never forget when I first heard this song. I wasn't even old enough to drive, but my sisters boyfriend had a system in his car. I remember riding with them in the back listening to this. I thought his rear view was gonna come off, and it literally made the whole back seat vibrate lol. If you have a system this is a must. I have 2 Skar 12s, and a 1000 watt old school mono kicker amp. Hits very hard. I always remind atleast 3 times or more before going to the next one 😂

Used to cruise campus corner O.U. bumpin Nemesis on Stillwater 15" kickers on an Alpine stereo in a 79 Ford Fiesta, about blew the windows out of it. This rap is so raw, it's unlike any other. And whoever that girl is that sings background, wow. Ty for this brings back such good memories! :D
