Lady of Legend is a fantastic GWR style locomotive, normally based at Didcot, she has had a small holiday to the Nene Valley Railway, just outside of Peterborough, for a series of passenger workings, goods workings, and photo charters.
I started my journey at Peterborough Nene Valley, taking the train to Wansford for a short break, allowing a visit to the sheds and yard area, before heading up to Yarwell. From there the loco ran round and the train took me back to Peterborough.
Lady of Legend is leaving the Nene soon, but it has been nice to see it running there working over some of the gradients.
Also in appearance was a few workings over the bridge that leads you to Peterborough East Jn, namely the PLPR train on a run from Derby to Norwich, and a few regular passenger workings.
