I bought one years ago , best home protection I have ever had . My father was in the NZ army and fought alongside the Ghurkas in Africa/Italy , he only had good things to say about those lads and their kukris.
I've recently bought up to 2 of your blades from your Etsy shop, the craftsmanship is amazing on them both. My mother is very impressed with the women's Khurmi. 💗 I loved 💕 the quality of work on them so much I ordered myself a 3rd Khukuri today 😎
I have bought incredible blades from these folks and have not been disappointed, they even gave me a super low quote on a custom job that turned out to fit my nature very well. Will e buying all my blades from these guys from here on out.
Hello, I'm from India. I am a bow and arrow maker and I'm learning blade smithing. I would like to visit your workshop for tips of authentic kukri art. How to contact you?
I have ColdSteel kukri Radjah2 and it is such a beast of weapon that i think obout that classical sentence;"do not come one by one, i want you all at once"! Now i can chop every enemy and anyone who is about to f with me!
The different regions & villages have their own style & shapes, & then you have subb categories of shapes & lengths for different types of work they are used for. That's the short answer. Hope that helps? You could Reed about them all day & still find something new to learn about it the next day. Each style also has a lot of history behind it. When you start learning about kukris,it's like going down the RU-vid rabbit hole at 3am when you can't sleep. I've sometimes spent 2 hours looking at videos.
Most of the kukri knife I bought were not temper and harden. It crack by cutting goat/sheep bone. So, make sure it was tempter and harden before you buy, otherwise don't just buy because it is a kukri.

Request all not to change the name,it's KHUKURI.It's not kukri or khukri. Coz,the previous impact of name being changed, from Gorakh-Gorakha- Gorkha( nepalese) now called so far "Gurkha"
I would never buy his knives because his feet are too ugly! Just kidding! Some people just dont understand what some do to make tools/art, this is why youtube is such a great learning tool. If u decide to retire making knifes might I suggest getting up off the ground to work? Rock On!
