Nothing but pure appreciation for the guy with long hair who organised Mark's trip. Amazing planing giving his guest a taste of famous foods to local foods just beautiful.
What I really like about Mark is that he simply loves life for what it is. There is nothing superficial about his show. Just shows that good food is enough to enjoy life.
Mark, this was the very first of your videos that I ever watched - I think I was searching on Pinterest or something for Nepali food and came across a link for this, and since I was home sick I ended up binge watching your whole series on Bhutan. To this day when I'm feeling down or under the weather, I come back and watch your Bhutan series again, and I feel much better! Thanks for making such great videos!
I'm rewatching your videos Mark. I never get tired of watching them. I'm Hmong and we eat a lot of fresh peppers dipped in salt also. Sometimes fresh pepper dipped in salt eaten alongside rice in water is all I want. I really enjoy watching your videos because you are so respectful when you are eating different foods. Thanks for making great quality videos. Much love from Nebraska, USA!
Mark please visit nepal again. you have missed a lot of foods like ju ju dau (king of curd),selroti (nepali donut) I can't mention all ... Please visit again and enjoy
yeah, he missed lots of foods in Nepal. He just focused on plain daal bhat most of the time. there is lot more to be explored by him. I wish him to come over again...
My favourite foods...........woodfire margherita, c momo, padthai , nepalese minched buffalo chatamari, spiced fried mushrooms, hot chips with chicken salt, .............i love food
Although these are everyday meals which we have, the way this man appreciates simple things makes him great.Carry on the humbleness and your hunger for exploring.Cheers🍻
Nepal & Bhutan is so underrated and this dude is amazing for going to Nepal instead of the usual India. ( no offense to any Indians, y'all still the bomb ❤️ )
Nepali Food!!!! how do I triple thumbs up?! Ying mustn't be used to freezing Bhutan lol so cute under the covers...that house was amazing, i love the rug, the aqua mint walls with the flowers...beautiful!
GameplayJenny Ahh... I cook Nepalese food at home and its pretty easy and you can do it yourself and takes around half an hour or so. Just need some spices which is pretty easy to find in local grocery store. I have seen some in walmart, Tescos, Asda and I think even in Sainsbury. So you wont have to go looking anywhere else.
You make me fall in love with my country again and again..hehehe...And Ohhhh!!! I can feel your expression and can actually taste the food in my head...
That food is mouthwatering delicious looking, Mark Wiens you have the best food blogs on RU-vid without a doubt, you inspired me to start my own RU-vid channel, at the moment I do reaction videos but as soon as I grow my audience to 500 subscribers I will be doing Food Blogs, thanks for the inspiration man.
I seriously appreciate you mark. You never disappoint us. I have never seen such a human who is so fine and equal to every culture. So happy and glad that people like you exist :)))
Mark u have such a nice gesture towards the families u visit 😊 u seems to be very grounded person🤗 moreover your expressions after every bite are just WOW...... love love love from india....
- 😂 I swear, Mark, your day must go something like this: Wake up, shoot food video, edit food video, telepathically determine when @edgesofearth is hungry...and then RUSH to the computer and post the video. I'm starving, and *BING* my alerts tell me that Mark has posted another video where he is going to zoom in close, talk about the aroma, talk about the amazing taste, and tell me that I need to try it. Meanwhile, I am riding on the back of a motorbike in Vietnam...trying not to die from the crazy traffic...and trying not to pass out from hunger. Thanks, Mark for the ironically-perfect timing...every time 😂🙃
I keep coming back to the Bhutan series every few months. The food looks incredibly delicious and I hope to visit someday! Thank you Mark for the beautiful presentation of this beautiful place!
+prateek goyal - Yeah, right - like there has been so much peace throughout the history of Asia, the Middle East and the rest of the 'Eastern' world. And yeah, all that crappy 'Western' influence - like all that which enabled the terrible technology like the computers and Internet that allows you to view this video and type ignorant comments on your computer/cell. What I've learned from the Western developed technological interconnectivity available is that there are hateful, ignorant fools all over the world. But I'm sure you would prefer to live in a mud hut, cooking your food on hot rocks, dying of all kinds of diseases without Western developed medicines. Get over yourself.
+a I have no army under my control. Don't judge all the common people by the sick and crazy actions of their governments. Most of us are struggling to make things better in whatever way we can. Peace.
Mark, I wud definitely like to see U pair up wid our Osin Sitaula from M&S hunger hunt wen u try amazing dishes of Nepal............ Plz do visit Nepal again :)
My family is from Guam and they chewed betel nut with leaf and lime. Also I remember my mom dipping her hot peppers in salt. Bhutanese and Nepali food looks delicious. Great videos!
Its always a pleasure to see you enjoy the various dishes they serve you. You are so respectful towards these people and their traditions. No wonder why they love you so much wherever you go. You are a good person. Thank you again for sharing all your adventures. We sure learn a lot about these amazing countries n their people. Thank you👍🔥🌼🌸👍🙏
I guess you can turn on the english caption on this video. I turned the cpation on and it worked for this video. Since he is speaking English, the caption will be pretty much good.
I have had seen many culinary visit videos and mark u r the best...ur presentation and simplicity makes u the best...I have been ur greatest fan...I m from Nepal....God bless
You are awesome for traveling all around the world and introducing different types of food and culture. Its really nice to see it. Brings back memories!!!!
Don Draper please stop being a racist troll. You can't fight racism with racism. How do you know some of the people you are attacking might be fighting for Mahadeshi rights also??? Two wrongs don't make a right.
strange you notice little things. in asian culture, you're not suppose to waste a grain of rice. everyone has their way to make sure not one grain of cooked rice wasted or lost as crumb while eating. habit from childhood scolding. Mark is smart and does not require childhood scolding to ensure no excess of cooked rice grain as crumbs. so, he eat normal to me. fyi for you.
@@nhanngo6494 actually you shouldnt scrape the spoon with your teeth. By the time one reaches 50-55 the teeth start getting weak and by 60 most of them are gone. Scraping with spoon weakens the teeth over the long run, as it slowly and slowly unroots it from the muscle.. That is why Indians prescribed eating food with hands and whoever followed never lost a tooth till death. Unfortunately some Westerners take this on their ignorant self esteem..
Dear Mark it was an honour for us that you visited my Country. we really look forward to you visiting my country again. This time I want to take you to my home for a Pleasant meal.
xnightxamex I noticed that too. I'm no nutritionist but my initial thought was to wonder if the fat and/or protein content (of dairy products) somehow helps the body in withstanding the cold weather?
This is my favourite of your Bhutan videos, but seriously Mark, how about trying the dishes one or two at a time with the rice, instead of piling them all on top of each other to create a giant jumble of deliciousness. Okay wait, that sounds good too, you're right. Cheers! :)
Mark have watched your previous video whole visiting Nepal but wanna tell that u have to visit Nepal again ... that food which u had before was just the basic food ...there's lot more to witness..love from Nepal.....your fan.
I like how you properly explain the taste of the food. You make it seem more appetising especially for a fussy eater like myself. I feel as if I'll be more open to trying new foods and I can't wait. Thanks mark
Your expressions when you take a bite are beyond measure ... thank you for enjoying food the joy of eating is the most satisfying joy ... foodie fan of yours Mark

LOVELY video! Thank you! ❤️ I've always been too shy to go to a homestay, but last year in Vietnam I had no choice actually, no homestay, no 'ban gioc' tour. So I dared and the experience was ultra positive !!! Super nice people, delicious food, a lot of fun with home distilled 'happy water' - it was great.
