love these lights look and style, now will they be able to keep them in stock...? i hate only getting one then i having to scavenge for a 2 and 3rd for the tank
Before Neptune brings out any new products they need to correct the quality assurance problems with their old products. I have purchased a number of their products. The apex controller had to be replaced because of hardware defects and now a new trident I purchased doesn't work and I'm waiting for support to contact me.
Another overpriced light except they took it a step further lol Instead of having to buy a separate $200 controller To make your light work, now you have to buy in Apex Get real guys. For this price this should be a one and done purchase
That’s a lil better I guess, the spread on this light is it’s only redeeming quality imo Maybe worth 600 but probably not There definitely not alone in being over priced. Seems to be hobby standard
@@ethanspruiell2722 when I got into the hobby a year ago I was thinking that my costs for starting the hobby would be around 3000.00 for a 41.5 gallon waterbox marine. So i bought a 41.5 gallon marine and a 25 gallon waterbox peninsula. With the aquariums cabinets, lights, Etc. Etc. Etc .. Im in over 10,000.00 and I haven't even bought my first coral. I only have 10 small fish and 6 snails
@@TheFiscallySound I got a 120g gallon everything brand new $2.5k without livestock. that includes, tank, stand, canister fluval fx6, 80lbs sand, 80lbs dry rock, hanna alk, cal, salinity kits, tdm meter, salt, circulation pumps adding up to 45x turnover rate rn will put 2 more pumps eventually. the 2.5k total includes 2 viparspectra 165w. if i add 1 more vipar 165w then make that total 2.6k as i'm running a lightless 4 month period while i stock up on half of the livestock. if i order 2 of the 300w vipar spectra instead of 165w then make the total $2.7k. also 2 other additions will be a ato which is $150 and a algae turf scrubber which is $120 but i'll be getting the $180 version. no where close to 10k for a 120g gallon setup idk why or how you spent 10k on a puny 40g tank my freshwater 40 gallon tank was $25 $30 filter $30 substrate and about $50 in decor and those fish have gone from 3in to 6" already.
