its almost like this blaster was made with the intent for it to be modifed in this way, the ball holders being so seperated from the rest, and the stop on the barrel

11:53 Barrel Opening further In addition to removing the Stops on the barrel I find that slightly shortening the posts on the shell which ride in that barrel groove, is also helpful. The new extended rear section of barrel groove is slightly less deep than the rest, and the posts can snag.

Two part apoxy putty can be used to fill any gaps. Just needs a little paint to hide any mistakes.

You didn't attach the trigger guard section that was in the kit, but I assume that just gets glued on?

I suppose you could glue it on, but it should just friction fit in place. At least, mine did. The part has a tab that goes where the safety lock was.

I am curious about the inline clip. I asume it has a piece of 17"32 inserted into a length of 9"16? How long is the section of 17"32? Amazing video on a great kit and mod. Thank you kindly sir.

Nope. 17/32 brass nested in the 3d printed part.

The knockout has always appealed to me personally and this kit really takes the best parts of the knockout in my opinion. The use of an inline clip system was a clever addition when the design could easily have been left as a single shot system. I for one would personally prefer the additional ammo capacity over the slight fps drop of the inline clip system for the game types I play. Overall I really love this kit. Thank you for the build guide Captain and hope you are well :)

There isn't one (as far as I know). As I said in the video this kit was featured in the Frantz Foam Works "The Box" #3. Which, I believe, is sold out.

No, the parts come printed. But cost is partly based on print time so they list it.

How do you attach the back section of rail? I've tried using one of my leftover Knockout screws but that doesn't seem to work.

Try a bigger screw? I am pretty sure I used a Knockout screw. I had to drill a hole in the shell. Be careful not to drill to deep or you will put a whole in your plunger.

Hey captain I have a question, my I was putting my Infinus on my wall when it slipped out of my hands and hit the floor. When I put a mag in it the light in the back lights up red, it won’t fire, it won’t load a dart or anything, what can I do to fix it, and I know all the wires are fine, idk what’s wrong with it

My first guess would be that the dart sensor got misaligned by the impact so it is registering as empty even when it isn't.

I'm having an issue getting my blaster to close back up, I thought maybe I cut the spring to much, but I replaced it with a spare spring I had but I can't figure out why it won't close, I'm pretty close to giving up...

I know it's a bit much, but could you try and make a rocket launcher that uses the half dart loading feature of this? You shove three Demolisher missiles through the muzzle, prime, and shoot three shots.

@@CaptainXavier Have you tried making a spring powered Demolisher rocket launcher? Same system as the 90's Reactor, I thought. Perhaps it uses the same system as the Reactor where you shove multiple rockets at once, and then slam fire

I have a Meaker Mk28, that is spring powered but is single shop. The Fortnite GL holds 6 and is a Hamp. I thing the issue with and inline clip for rockets is going to be getting a seal and having enough plunger volume to clear that seal.

Confused about the barrel. So when you got the in line clip and brass barrel just the way you wanted it so it was flush how did you prevent the brass barrel from moving again?

The barrel is seated in the inline clip. When I pushed the barrel in I was pushing it further into the clip so that it is flush when the clip it fully forward. I then secured the clip with E-tape.
