As with everything in my life & career as an artist, I have been patient and I have always waited for my time. To be able to finally perform live at the Lancaster Priory at the “Songs from Home” concert felt so good and it solidified my confidence & that I can & have to do this more. I have always loved attending concerts where people sit & listen to the music, I have always been amazed by how musicians are able to make audiences listening to them & keep them glued to their seats and just watch them performing for the entire concert. It’s always been my dream & yester afternoon I thoroughly enjoyed this, it was yet another special moment for me, I was performing at the same time just thinking “how did I get here”? These are moments I have always dreamed of & it feels right to take it to the next level where I will start performing more, I don’t know where but as with most things in my life, I put it all out there & the universe has always made a way…. I wouldn’t have asked for a better person to perform with, a phenomenal guitarist, singer songwriter, a 3 time award winner of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), Tony Cox. What a guy 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿. Have a listen to this snippet of one of the songs that we did, a cover of the song “Neria” that was done by the late great African giant Oliver Mutudzi….
