This game was so hard w/o save state. If you use a wrong character on some of the later stage, it's basically "game over" (so basically follow who fought who according to the anime/manga)
I literally had a notebook with all the passwords of the games I have played( alphabetically) this game gave me a really hard time due to it's lenghty password, not to mention it was in Japanese. Thanks to this game I learned many Japanese alphabets
It's Dohko: Libra's gold knight in the state of half death. It is not the true form of the character. Dohko shows off its original form in the Hades season.
Since you mentioned only PC or even handheld, i have a funny feeling that you were born after 90's when you were like infant at that time. cause this game was released since 90's. exactly when you don't even know the Fanicom NES, too.
@@heerojillo9663 I'm 31. I had moved to Japan when I was 6, and again when I was mid teens. First time around we didn't have tv so didn't know what was the "neat" thing in Animew. Second time around we only had AFN. I know full well what Saint Seiya is. :P
@@KatTrapable yeah, exactly what i think about how old in range. You see, Anime thing didn't come to TV a lot at that time. It was like somehow when comic were more popular in those past day. pretty much if the comic was popular, then they make some OAV or movie (the movie in theater to show, the real movie. Unlike now a day, movie doesn't need to show in movie theater first) in order to have more show and popular there. Talking about the anime/comic related video game, they always attached into Nintendo when the fanicom was popular in Asia if you are rich enough to get one. Most of the time you want to play video game? Arcade place is the only choice. I was happened to know this game, play little bit yet didn't complete the game(or don't even know how to beat the game...:-P) but i don't even own the system though....sad and poor from that day.
Too bad they didn't bring these games to the west back then, since the US was always in charge of localizing games but this show didn't have the same popularity there like in Europe or Latin America, they didn't bother to bring the games.
I love this game but my version it was only in japanese so I did not understand anything the Saints was saying. But it was a great game for me anyway. Big fan of the manga and the anime!
How is it possible for you to play? This game is all about dialogue options. You can't go through the temples without choosing the right dialogues and triggering events
I hope the "Wonderswan Color" version of the game, called "Perfect Edition" if I remember correctly, gets a nice English translation hack upgrade from the good fans.
This game, whilst bad and broken, is a guilty pleasure of mine since it was where I first heard of/was introduced to Saint Seiya. The biggest problem is the controls, they are extremely stiff, especially with the jumping, where if you make a mistake you can't compensate for it, and other times, stages are poorly designed like 13:53, and the dodging and attacking in the RPG modes, you have to button mash so your fingers/thumbs will hurt after playing this game. And they also swapped Ikki's attack names. 😵💫
@@greatheroes2863 правда?хорошо!я слышал студия "Шедевр" много игр перевела!а про эту игру 👆 было невозможно понять что куда жать и для чего....вспоминается такая же проблема с игрой Guardian Legend 👻
