@@V0YAG3R It realy wasn't. Its actually one of the easiest Levels in the Game. All you have to do is swim around and deactivate the Bombs. Heck, I beat this level several Times as an 8 Year old.
I remember getting to the techno drome a few times as a kid although I never beat it. Watching these speed runs it makes me think I probably beat about 5% of the NES games I owned. I must have played Snake Rattle n Roll for like 1000 hours. Never beat it!
@@ashwinathlye3338 the original films of course! If you were a kid in the 80s/early 90s you'd have seen the first 2 at least 100 times. 3rd one not so much. I was born in 1980 so i got the best of both worlds, cartoon and movies as a child.
I remember getting this game for my birthday when I was a kid and I was so excited. That excitement quickly grew to hatred. I eventually beat though. Came back decades later to try as an adult and I have no idea how young me had the patience to even get past the 1st level.
Watching you play, I felt a huge amount of anxiety every time you pass the pizza. I never beat the game, but I appreciate the opportunity to do it vicariously through you. Well done!
I think he sacrificed that turtle to get out of the building quicker. Basically, as long as Donatello lives, you are OK - since Donatello is SO much more powerful than the other turtles.
See these are the types of stories is why I love this generation. The pain, the agony, and triumph in some cases with just life in general. Everybody did their best with what they had no matter the outcome. You're a champion in my book sir.
When I was Young my older brother and I adored this game. We had a lot of trouble of the swimming bomb diffuse stage at around 4:00. Seeing you play this is making me itch to do a run and see how I do. I learned a lot from this video. Great job!
I just recently came across the whole genre of speedrun of old NES and Genesis games and it's like snorting lines of 80s/90s nostalgia....I'm addicted!
this was my favorite game as a kid. I know like games like dark souls... guess you really grow up how you were as a kid. So glad to see it again. Much love brotha
As a kid, this was my favorite TMNT game and probably my third favorite non RPG game behind Mario 3 and Punch out and I remember it being so difficult and fun but this video made realize how simple of a game it is and now I think it's ruined in my psyche forever.
Closest i got to was the technodrome and that was maybe twice in my whole childhood lolz and I thought that was legit the end back then . Oh how I was wrong 🤣
That stupid dam used to be a deal breaker for me and my friends. If we could get past that we could go the distance, yet here you are just going for it.... Well done!
Gottta love Arcus. He must be the chillest game streamer that exists. I've still yet to beat this game in over 30 years of my existence and he beat it in less than 20 mins while humming tunes and not screaming once.
This might be my new all time favorite video on RU-vid. I still play my original copy, on my second generation NES, and I can still make it into the Technodrome. I've never seen Shredder.
!bew ... ..."bew, bew, bew BEW 🎵!" The sheer joy and simple pleasure arcus has while playing these classics really lightens my day and reminds me that life doesn't have to be so complex and that happiness begins with just one thought.
this man has single handedly solved every unfinished game of my childhood. im 35 watching him indiana jones the sh out of every game i couldnt finish when i was 8
I'm so impressed! It's hard to believe someone would get this good at such a frustrating game. I beat the dam stage a few times as a kid but never made it much farther.
I always preferred this one to the beatemups that came after; once you got to level three you just farmed the hell out of the scrolls and utter nuked your way through the technodrome. Well played sir!
