@@googlestore4830 i wouldn't totally agree on that bc the scaling is different, with an 18 start you only need 10 lines to get from lvl 29 to 30, with a 29 start you need 200 lines, so you get way less points for the same amount of lines and tetrisses
@@supersayin4606 You're right, it's not exactly the same thing. I just wanted to say that Cheez already got _1 million_ points on Level 29 speed, though not Level 29 start.
@@supersayin4606 Well, did someone do the math? He did 320 lines on killscreen. That could very well be enough for a maxout on l29depending on how he scored. Should be a close call
Its ecstatic to see someone plays the killscreen with a goal rather thsn purely on instincts and limitation. I didn't think i would have enjoyed this video, i am mistaken, this is amazing!
I wonder if there will be something like in Cross Country Skiing with different styles (classical vs skating) in Tetris too, basically DAS specific competition, Hypertap specific and Rolling specific. Would be pretty cool to have it all covered.
They actually do have DAS only tournaments already! Maybe CTWC will eventually start having two different WC brackets 🤷♂️ (or 3 if you include tapping as well)
This is ... Damn The end of the Killscreen soon? Double Max(Max before 29 and 2Million Total during kill screen) Or Perfect Double Max (Max before and after 29 each)
Yes, but when you get to 29 from a 19 start, the levels go up (to 30 and beyond) every 10 lines, which increases the score multiplier and allows you to score higher. Where as when you start at 29 you're stuck at 29 for 230 lines. Making your scoring potential much lower.
It doesn't normally, it is a few frame trick (duration where it's possible depends on the fall speed) where you can rotate the piece before it falls down another cell.
In an 18 or 19 start, the levels increase much faster after 29, and higher levels mean more points. If you start on 29, it stays at that level for a full 200 lines. (So basically, the same performance on a 29 start gives you fewer points, so it's hard to compare the scores without a bunch of computation)
@@qqwref2 is points relative to the level you're on or the level you started at? Because if it's just the lvl you're on it should be comparing apples to apples
@@waxt0n Every time you clear lines, you get a number of points based on your current level. So the killscreen of a normal game gives you points like 29, 30, 31, 32, ... and a 29 start gives you points like 29, 29, [17 more times], 29, 30, 31, ...
