I could kiss you. Thank you so much. I knew there were sensors but the descriptions I had before made it seem they were far lower than they are. Saved me buying a new machine! 😊
Hi, very clear video! I'm facing another problem however, when closing the slider on top, it doesn't register it is closed, so it refuses to make any coffee (says in the app the slider is open, while it's closed). When the machine is off, it also doesn't turn on automatically after opening the slider like it used to. So it seems there is also some sensor dirty or broken, do you know where it is located and maybe how to fix it?
Have one of these. I've cleaned and maintained it well. I now have an issue where I get a stupidly small dose of coffee and and the rest of the coffee and water go into the tray/waste. Can you advise or help. I've run descale. 😢
Hello my friend, i have one of these machines but i'm facing an error which i can't find anything about online... Whats happens is that when i put a capsule in it right before the mechanism closes to start the process it gives an error (maintenance led blinking fast and constinuously) and it spills the capsule out, the error wont go off unless i unplug the machine from mains, looks like it senses that something is blocking the gears and/or forcing the motor but there is no such sensor in this part (motor voltage drop sensing maybe?). I'm a repair technician from Brazil but this thing is new to me, already checked the capsule/tray infrared sensor and i'snt blocked, do you have seen anything like that before? i'm running out off hope right now 😅
@@meghanbennett2962 hi my friend, unfortunately i didn't found any solution, the machine is mine so i had to hemade the board using esp microcontroller and custom code/electronics, the good part is that now it behaves exactly as i want and if i'm not happy about anything i can change the code whenever i want! it is also working with local wifi so i can control it using my phone. I have some experience with arduino, progaming and, of course, electronics but it was not easy i have to say, don't recommend doing this for a customer or if you are not used to electronics/progaming...
