Thanks so much for the review, ive been so curious about buying one of these as my old work place had an original machine and the coffee was amazing. Ive missed it ever since. For the price i liked this model because of the colour range and classy appearance, however its so noisy?! That was unexpected. My housemates will actually kick me out 😂😂😂 Very thankful to have found that out now not later
Pretty good explanations. It might be an idea to make sure your cup or mug are not too cold before the coffé pours in otherwise you may end up with a coffee that is not hot.
I won one of these at a golf tournament . I’ve had the old style (capsules) for about 15 years. - multiple machines . I like the old ones better , this thing is mammoth , but I can’t complain because I won it. Oh , it also sounds like construction machinery , what the heck? again , I can’t complain lol.
Yes you can! We actually reviewed a little kit on the channel we got off Amazon in the past which came with a bunch of sticky foil lids 🙂 Just in case anyone wants to watch that one too
I have had my Vertuo Pop for about six weeks now and it is used every day! Love the ease of it and thank you for demonstrating all the different size pods. Off to make a coffee now!
The Vertuo Plus is superior in build quality, design, and even the taste of the coffee, as it uses a higher temperature than Next and Pop. They really cheaped out on these newer machines.
I think it is very strange that they continue with manual closing on new machines instead of automatic closing as on VertuoPlus. Seems like a step back.. That said, the honeymoon phase with my L'Or Barista Sublime are over. Among the total of 8 different nespresso machines I've had, this is by far my favourite! With the possibility of using different sizes of capsules, you can make a mug sized coffee, you get the best of both Original and Vertuo, but without the terrible foam of 230ml vertuo coffee
Yeah I much prefer the open and close mechanism on the Vertuo Plus too! Well you just persuaded me to order a Lor Barista Sublime to try out. The deal I got comes with 150 pods and think some of those are double espresso so should get to try out a few varieties ☕️😁 Look forward to seeing what it’s like 👍🏼
@@A2BProductions It will not disappoint! I think you got a pretty good deal, I didn't get any extra capsules with the purchase. I strongly recommend the Lor Grand Cafe Filter style capsule (XXL yellow/gold colored which you get in the tasting box with the machine). much better than any mug sized coffee I've tried from Vertuoline! Hope you post unboxing and review videos of the machine later on :)
Will look out for that capsule ☕️👍🏼 It was a no brainer in the end as was £59 with 150 free pods including some XL pods too. Would have been silly not to try it 😅 Thanks for sharing!
some of us arent that lazy we need the machine to do Everything for us. this will blow your mind...i dont let my used pods go into the discard tray....i grab them before the arms get them and pull them out before they fall.
Thanks for the video! It’s a lot louder than some of their other models which is unfortunate. I think I’ll hang onto my old model just because of this!
My experience with the Pop: Rattles from water container ( less if you leave the lid off) Drip tray more detachable than attachable - poor design. Lock/unlock markings look like a dirty smudge on some colours ( not black and not white). Some of the plastics are thin / brittle as you can see in the demonstration here ( around the used pod holder). Run your finger around the top edge of the machine and it can be quite rough in places. Otherwise makes a nice enough coffee and there’s a wide range of coffee types to choose from.
I hate ours. Old machine was a lot better. Coffee is not hot. It is noisy & everything is too diluted with water. Also, does not fit their own commuter mugs unless you by a platform to raise it up! I am returning it!
Thanks for sharing 🙂👍🏼 Noticed it’s called the Pop+ in the US and they listed the XL capsules as a cup size on that. Seems that machine is a little bigger though, so was wondering if the UK version would do the XL capsules. Thanks 😊
About as much pretend espresso as the cheap low pressure screw top steam based espresso machines and the stovetop Moka makers. The coffee may be good but the crema is more whipped coffee than the extracted essential oils. It may be good coffee but it's only pretend espresso... Go with the original line Nespresso if you want espresso, Keurig if you want drip coffee and Tassimo is you want the barcode complexity. Then there's the Second Cup coffee chain that adopted centrifugal machine in it's desperate attempt to survive Starbuck's entry into Canada and of course fake espresso simply was not enough to defeat over roasted espresso. Even McDonalds coffee is better than these centrifugal coffees as they did invest a lot in automated barista machines and McDonalds coffee might even be argued as better than Charbucks...
@saskassh8212 there are othet brands for original line but vertuoline is still under patent so no, just nespresso and the retail starbucks by nesprssso VL ones
Hey, I recently got myself the Vertuo Next machine only because I drink a lot of coffee and want big mug sizes and because I'm a fan of the crema. Unfortunately, I found that the coffee is not hot at all and the crema is rather foam. I drink very very hot coffee (so that my mouth almost burns hahah😆). I don't know, I am so indecisive on the one hand I find the mug sizes so great on the Vertuo on the other hand the coffee is not so hot and not really good. How is the original series ? One good thing about the original line is that you can buy many many capsules for but they only make lungo and espresso and I think the crema is not really good or?
I have seen that as a sort of hack for the pop+ in the US to pour a double espresso from mug size capsules I think 🤔 If you’re using the standard double espresso capsules though then you only have to press it once 🙂☕️
