Hey mate, I reckon this is a great bit of insight/content into your game. We've all been there when we've had an area we've wanted to improve on in a net, and the old adage of "forgetting about that" naturally comes to mind. Fact you're more than happy to post it, be open to comments, and often criticism from your viewers really makes you standout. Keep it going!

Thanks for your thoughts mate. Always very happy to share where I'm at and get feedback from our community - both good and bad. Appreciate your comment mate.

Really enjoyed this mate, would love to see more of this kind of video. Just one thing, when your coach is talking but it's not quite audible because he's too far away, any chance of putting up some captions of what he's saying? That would be great!

i appreciate this video mate, a senior coach being coached....👌 so many videos start with “sometimes kids’ but us older blokes need coaching too! Keep it up we can all learn something new 👍 Question tho, interested in why you seem to bat on off stumpish? cheers

Why you told "No Leave it" @29:50 and what should be the line and length to leave a ball , I mean 5th stump or 6th to leave that ball and height more than hip ? Some players playes very good by adjusting themself, so what to follow ? Do you have any key points you hare learnt to fix your problem from that session ? Also you are telling allways front foot @30:15 , why and when we should always front foot.

I thought I was watching a combination of Aiden Markram and AB de Villiers batting! Great work though!

Good session Tom. Really helpful to listen to your conversation. Question for you - are you left-eye and left-hand dominant and do you rate the dominant-eye/hand theory for batting? I am right-hand and right-eye dominant, so according to that theory I should have batted left handed (too late for that), but what do you think?

Hey, could you give me some thoughts about this. So when batting I bat In between middle and off because when blocking a top of off shot I feel like I get more of the face of the bat onto the ball. I think this helps not getting any edges. What r ur thoughts on this?
@cricketmentoring
@cricketmentoring 6 лет назад
I like it. That's pretty much what I do as well. By starting on middle and off I feel I am already closer to most of the balls...

@callmesir8936
@callmesir8936 6 лет назад
Siddiqui Abubaker it’s all about keep your head level and as still as possible at the point of release mate. If you do that you can then picking length and line become easier to judge.

Scollsie, you square up often because your front toe is often turned down the wicket too much for the footwork
@cricketmentoring

@TheAndreboom

If you watch the video you rotate your front foot twice towards bowler before the ball is released
