I'm 67 and ironically when i was a kid living in a medium sized town in the east of England we pretty much lived in a 'fifteen minute zone'. We didn't have a car but everything we needed such as butchers, greengrocer, barbers, doctors, clinic, school, phone box (no home phone), etc, was no more than fifteen minutes walk away. It was THEY that decided to get rid of all those amenities and services and put huge supermarkets OUTSIDE of town so you had to drive there. Now they are blaming us! And who are THEY? The Hierarchy Enslaving You!

All the time you don't identify the enemy of the people, you are doomed to be its servant. In recent history, only two people identified the enemy and set upon a course to disempower them. The time came when they also had the power as well as the plan. Of course they were taken out of the game. Dominic Cummings had the plan that "cut the legs off the Treasury", a shorthand way to say "make the Civil Service accountable.". With Boris in No10, with a good majority, they had the means. So of course they had to go. Ask yourself how it is that of 100+ fines issued by the Met as a response to "Partygate", the two that went to politicians resulted in removal. What happened to the organisers, those senior civil servants with multiple offences? Nothing. Every Labour government since WW2 has been brought down by the same people. Attlee was brought down by a failure to deliver, there was no money the Treasury said, except to build nuclear weapons and "stuff with gold" the mouths of the medical profession. Wilson was brought down by treason by "rogue officials" within MI5, when eventually the matter was investigated, not by the Police of course, but eventually by a Select Committee. The dodgy dossier brought Blair down. If you think the aristocracy has anything to do with this, you're wrong. They are kept "in their place" by an endless flow of public cash.

We are in the situation where energy policy is being determined by ridiculous and economically destructive popular delusions in much of the Western world due to weak and corrupt politicians. In many countries people are beginning to oppose the massive misappropriation of taxpayers money and resources into uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects. Popular delusions are dangerous and can lead to economic ruin, war and genocide.
Milliband is proof that intelligence and common sense are often not given to the same person and in his case he had the misfortune to be deprived of both.
These projects are being passed because the councils adopt the Delphi technique, planting their own activists amongst the attendees, usually more in number than those resisting the plans, thwarting the vote so that the council always wins. Rosa Koire has some great vids on planning in the US and how the agenda plays out to counter any resistance. It's only foiled when larger numbers than expected turn up to out weigh the activists. When that happens, the councils find another way ie voting behind closed doors due to 'sensitive financial information' not for public viewing?

The road to serfdom is nearly complete, and Net Zero is the quality of life we will have, so long as we do as we're told. Deletion is the punishment for non-compliance.
The fundamental issue is that climate action has no utility as the carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels are largely beneficial. Benefits include greening of the planet with increased agricultural yields, reduced winter heating costs, fewer deaths from hypothermia and postponement of the next glacial maximum. This is especially so in cold areas such as the UK. The most economical energy, transportation and agricultural resources available should be utilised. Taxpayers money should not be used to subsidise uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects.
The MP's job is to run the country on OUR behalf. They are meant to be accountable to US. Instead they just implement their ideas, or those with the most money. When was the last time any individual voter was asked how they wanted their country to be run?
It's got nothing to do with the environment it's all about a "Carbon Tracker Tax". Carbon Credits, how to Tax people for what they DO not what they earn, it's another TAX SCAM people!
I find it difficult to follow government thinking, Do not build power stations because we can get electricity from France/Norway, do not allow new coal mines as we can import coal from another country, do not allow oil exploration as we can import it from another country. This means to me 100,000 employed in other countries, none in the UK and a big loss of corporation tax/ income tax.
The answer to the video title is: YES they want the peasant class back in feudal, medieval times where electricity use is a privilege for those with good social credit scores & fossil fuel use is exclusively for the rich.
If they want net zero then train prices should be halved, buses should be £1 max fare, food should be home grown instead of set aside and importing food

Net zero by 2050 is for the birds and will not happen, barring a huge technological advance. That is a plain fact. It is easy to commit to this target when 25 years away and most people in politics will not be in the game any longer and will have left it to their successors to dismantle. And it will have to be dismantled, like I say unless technology rides in to the rescue. Conclusion: Try not to let them annoy you too much, you can’t teach ‘stupid’ and it probably won’t affect you.
They are on this planet and the economic right wing doesn’t make the rules for this planet, Nature does, they are immutable , arbitrary and unavoidable There is a limited amount in which we are able to modify the environment and we would appear to perhaps to have come very close to , if not surpassed that threshold. The response will be natures and it will be as described above. If the environment modification that the planet can live with is the equivalent of feudal times then that will be the outcome. It will not be the greenies nor the economic right wing that will determine that it will be the cold hard unfeeling laws of nature.
This planet has had a few natural catastrophic events in its existence and has recovered from them. It does so in its own time, in its own way. Yes, we are creating a catastrophic event and YES the planet WILL recover from it. The question is, can we fix what we created and survive or will it be too little too late for us.

Ive watched this guy on telly, he’s a real net zero zealot.this rant makes him sound reasonable, don’t believe him. He may be something to do with the Met office you know the organisation who want to scare us into believing all sorts of worldly disasters. UK sinks no difference to world temperatures, he and his ilk should go and preach to the very poor in Asia and Africa Central South America etc who only care about tomorrows meals and don’t give a shit about net zero.
