I agree, and very much appreciate your statement that Israel gave the Palestinians their own state, “tied up in a ribbon”, in Gaza when Israel withdrew. At that point they affirmed their true intentions of wanting more, by voting in Hamas, before realising, too late, they just may have made the wrong choice. I see clearly that Hamas as prodded by Iran has ruined any chance of Palestinians working/living alongside Israelis, sadly to the detriment of both peoples, in construction and agriculture, largely. With the West Bank now drawn more dramatically into conflict with Israel, increasingly day by day, our eyes are on Jerusalem as we pray for Her Peace. Israel is not alone in this war. God is for Her. May Israel turn their cries and trust and prayers to their own God who delivered them long ago from slavery in Egypt, and planted them in His Land, Eretz Israel. Hamas is only the face of the problem. The real problem is the fact most of the Palestinian population are radicalized and do not want to recognize Israel under any circumstances. There's a reason why two Arab-conducted polls in November and December found Hamas has widespread support in both Gaza and the West Bank. The Palestinians don't want a "two-state solution" and such would only create MORE violence. That would likeky result in the Palestinians taking control of the West Bank, which they would then use as a base to attack Israel just as they did Gaza. But because of the geographic proximity of the West Bank, as well the relative elevation, the attacks would be much more devastating to Israel and much harder to defend against. This is why a former Fatah official said "Israel knows it can't survive the 1967 borders." And this isn't even getting into the external threats of Iran's other proxies. Netanyahu realized this long ago and the rest of Israel finally figured it out on October 7th.

@@trevaudio What could be considered radicalized Israelis are few and far between and on the margins. They don't make up the bulk of the population or the government. Most Israelis have realized there is nothing they can do that will convince the Palestinians to find a way to live in peace. But they don't want to completely wipe out all Palestinians the way Palestinians do the Jews. There isn't a moral equivalency here.
