I absolutely love how the intro is basically showing how he compartmentalizes all parts of his life as well as his emotions, it’s so interesting. It shows how he has a hard time relating to emotions therefore making him a “mold” of a human. Literally the most interesting intro I’ve ever seen, I was hooked after 👌🏻

This show kinda does follow the dark comedic tone and elements of the Rules of Attraction which is in the same universe as American psycho. It pokes fun at truly disturbed and dysfunctional toxic people The main character in rules of attraction is the younger brother of Patrick Bateman in American psycho

The characters annoy me because of how toxic they are Especially Payton. It’s doesn’t help that he talks like a crackhead but I think that’s the point to humanize his character even further as if you don’t get a choice whether or not you want to focus on his character The same way him and all of us never quite entirely get a choice to be bound to this life, our bodies and who we are
