I hope they eventually release his other minions Rumble, Frenzy, and Ratbat for this Soundwave.

Emgo, it blows my mind how close to the masterpiece quality these toys are. Hasbro knows what their doing making these WFC toys. With the box art and how close these toys resemble their G1 look and with no nonsense gimmicks its clear these toys are aimed at adults.

I must say, I was lucky enough to have gotten this figure for Christmas from my sister, I was looking for it, or at least a G1'y soundwave, for a while and she got me this particular figure. I'm glad that you were able to find it as well, I definitely feel that it's a good figure, and a great soundwave.

That folding gun is one of the reasons I wanted Soundwave, because it can be used to give melee weapons longer handles so they can be two-handed. Soundwave himself is great too. I prefer the boom box alt mode to the flying brick thing.

I was told Soundwave's 2nd gun was meant to be plugged onto Megatron's back to look like the Barrel of his Walther Pistol mode, in G1 Homage.

So glad you got him! He is a great toy. I love this version. Soundwave and Megatron from this series are some of the best looking versions of both characters as far as toys go in aloooooong time.

Best use of the unfolding gun is to use it as a handle for other weapons. You can make a great looking sledgehammer by extending the handle of Soundwave's Blaster.

Such a fantastic update of this figure. I was lucky as all get out to find him in the wild; it's such a dang shame he wound up as a limited exclusive, everyone who collects generations should have access to this guy. If a 3p company ever makes a set of piledrivers for Rumble/Frenzy the G1 display for him will be just about perfect.

I wish they had gotten rid of that arm kibble to give him a wrist rransformation like Optimus Prime, but I'm still really happy with the way he looks overall :) Can't wait to pick him up when I find him, hopefully soon

I saw this in a Walmart once at retail and I passed on it. Biggest regret of my LIFE.

I hate Walmart, I haven't even seen this guy on store shelves yet. One month later, on of mine finally decided to stock him.

I absolutely love how his transformation is very reminiscent of the G1 mold. Of course its not exact but Legs, arms, and even his head go in the exact same spot as the G1 does. Too bad the guns don't get stored like batteries.

i love this figure. if you sand down the plastic a little on lazerbeak's "claws" he will clip right on to the arm.

Soundwave is Best Dad. I do wish they'd remolded his forearms to not have the kibble from his Siege version, as well as to get rid of the over-greebling, but it's still a very nice Soundwave. Someday, though, I'll pull the trigger on the MP of him.

Yeah, this is best modern Soundwave toy EVAR. I remember back when the Siege one came out and I passed on it because I wanted a tape deck. As the huge Masterpiece price loomed over me and Siege Soundwave became rarer, I started to get worried. Then boom, Netflix Soundwave comes along like a miracle. Easily one of my favorites in my collection. What’s also good about this is now that Siege Soundblaster recolor is more unique. I’m also hoping down the line this mold will be retooled into Blaster. If we got one Tape Deck Transformer, we need the other one too.

I love Soundwave... and yes he’s an animal lover 😄. Two things that do really bother me with these WFC toys is how “toy-ish” they really are with the hollow areas in limbs and the ball and t-joints that come apart too easily. So the alternative is to go MP and/or KO, I guess. What I DO like about WFC toys is they are usually available at my local Walmart and Target stores and that their robot and disguise modes are much better looking than the older TF’s. But I do miss my original Laserbeak. I had him before he became such a star on the show. Soundwave came with Buzzsaw but Laserbeak came with Frenzy in a two-pack. 🤓

Glad u finally managed to find one. I remember hearin how u were still lookin in some other video. I was forced to resort to criminal Ebay for mines at criminal prices.😒

I found one today, they barely stocked him at Walmart, just barely put him on the shelf, and I wasted no time. I think there was only one though. My local Walmart has an employee scalping problem.

I recently got the Dhattered Glass version and had to watch this because I had no idea what the things under is arms were and nothing in the instructions pointed out what they were. So thank you for clearing that up for me. One thing I did notice was that in this video and the space ship one you had used the peg to hold Laser Beak into place. I saw on mine that the feet clip in and was wondering if that's new to the Shattered glass mold or was missed in the review. I wish I could add a photo for clarification.
