Jongbloed had some really incredible saves in this game. Though Van Hanegem said he wasn't a very good keeper, every game I've seen him play he's been awesome.

quite right. His " bad fame " was that he was very often far away from his spot, he took too much risk leaving the goal undefendend

Sí, poi hanno perso, e anche male, come nel 74, in cui tra l'altro alla Germania nel secondo tempo annullarono un gol regolarissimo e non concessero un rigore altrettanto clamoroso. Poteva finire 4 a 1 per la 'famosa' olanda del calcio totale.

In part shown in this video: clear foul on Zoff just seconds before Holland scored 1-1. At the same time, to hell 'fair play' with Netherlands players not giving back the ball to the azzuri [veri cafoni], after Zoff kicked it our of the pitch to check his injury - this was the action that then saw the 1-1. Glad that in the end the orange did not win this time neither. Argentina 3, Netherlands 1. say bye bye to the world cup. bye bye. Italy won it 4 years later anyway.

@@wiseonwords The Nethrlands played perhaps the best football for a second successive world cup but ultimately they lost again in the final. In 1978 they were so close though as Rensenbrink hit the post in the 91st minute with the score level

@@charlenegatt1769esatto sono d'accordo, l'Italia segno' fortunosamente, la nazionale azzurra era fortissima a quel mondiale ma gli orange erano superiori a tutti anche all'Argentina che vinse quel mondiale fortunosissimamente grazie a quel palo di Rensembrink a pochi minuti dalla fine.

Cruijff non e' andato perche' era in rotta con i suoi compagni e del resto il suo contributo agli europei 76 fu deludente. La squadra che aveva dominato nel '74 era una squadra di imbucati dato che senza errori arbitrali i veri vincitori del girone di eliminazione furono i Belgi che infatti nessuno ricorda o menziona
