Neumann U87 clone from gototoolz! 

Yea, the GTZ87 sounds great for the prize. I’ve used real 87s, its not quite the same but it’s pretty good. My nt1 has been relegated to the locker permanently after I got mine

It sounds very good, I liked it better than the Lewett for spoke word. Ok the singing they both sounded good to me.

The clone sounded so detailed, maybe it could need some EQ in post but ir sounded great to me

it could probably pass for the original in a studio and nobody would know the difference. a few sound engineers could probably tell it's not the original, but most people would just say it sounds good. it's so close, but if you know what to look for you can tell it's not a real u87. for the price, you can't beat it.

The U 87 Clone Sounds Way better on your voice. I’m very impressed I do have my own and I do have a U 8seven so I’m going to do an AB comparison myself.

The real U87 has a lot more low end it’s a Neumann thing but the clone sound amazing for its price I paid more for my ride NT1 and it doesn’t sound as good as the GTZ

Fun and informative video. I’d probably get this if I hadn’t already gotten a new NT1 5th Gen. the buck has to stop somewhere 😅
