Great track! Have you tried spectre digital’s products? I’ve been using Extiction level event drums and element bass, and I’m finding they sound fantastic in a heavy mix! I’ve never been satisfied with SD3, even bouncing individual tracks and mixing them like real drums. ELE, for me and my music, just works- first time, every time. Element bass has changed my mixes, too. I used to run two of the same bass tracks, one either bone dry, and the other using parallax, or one with waves CLAbass, and parallax. Now i can get that drive, clank and top end shine all in one plugin. I know i sound like I’m a salesman, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on these plugins, as your setup is nearly identical to what mine was a year ago Cheers!

Hey Allen thanks for stoppin by man and giving a listen! I havent tried Spectres stuff, but I have been a fan of Glenn and the work he does for a long time. I can give them a run through in the future at some point. I too like experimenting with all kinds of plugins and audio products. What ever makes the work flow easier is great to me. @@domdingle311 not trying to pimp myself, but i just released a track on Spotify, named “Hondo”- recorded in logic proX. Guitars were recorded using an early 1980’s left handed Hondo Les Paul lawsuit guitar i bought for 300 dollars- all stock. I used the Petrucci Ndsp plugin for the cleans, and the Jack Gardiner Andy Timmons-ish preset from the Mesa Boogie Ndsp. Bass is element, and drums are extinction level event. Mixed using slate, waves, and mastered in ozone10 Not metal, more experimental guitar rock. I do have some heavier stuff on my EP released a year or so ago. However, it will give a good idea of the sounds and how they work in my mix! Cheers
