Join me to quickly check out some of my favorite tones and talk about why I wanted one of these! The mix was done using Draven Noire's capture of the Orange Dual Dark 100 using This Heavy Earth Grim Overdrive on Channel B. The IR used for the mix was also from Draven Noire's new Mesa IR Pack.

@@gravelrocks5588 thank you!!! I have been interested in a Helix for about 10 years. Got swayed to the Cortex and wish I would have done it years ago. It’s really fun to play around with! No regrets!

Sounds like you don't have the cabinet block on or just how it's sounding on RU-vid. not sure. Once you set up the scenes, it's so awesome to be able to click through different snapshots of your preset. I've had mine for about 2 years now and still loving it. If you're just wanting to practice, you can just go to the evh 3 preset, (if you're into that sort of thing), and it sounds awesome right out of the box, or more than good enough for sure.

@@-SILON the block was on but there is definitely some added noise. I wonder if I had the output to high? I’ll have to play around with actually filming it more to fix that going forward. That EVH preset works perfectly! Once I setup my 2 - 3 scenes properly I’ll be golden!

@@tyrannosaurusriffs nice. Also really like the pitch shifter with the expression pedal. So many options. But once again, with that said, you can just plug and play and get back to playing guitar without fiddling too much.

@@-SILON I have the pitch setup as well! It works great! Nice to not have to swap guitars and just get to playing quickly. Big fan of this thing over here!

Is that a cracked bada bling?I see hanging behind you... I still have one when they first came out , but it is the uncracked version
