people will never understand that AI is the enemy of people. It's hard for me to imagine that AI will make decisions for us, most of which will be wrong because AI does not have something like a heart. we already have enough heartless thinking people.

Could full strong AGI be possible without a preconceived goal or purpose? The system would be 'passive' by design, and just like with Codex, you could 'talk' to it to first make sure your request is understood, and then to receive an output that can only be implemented (runned) by independent narrow systems. This way, any solution is decentralized and also more security measures can be more directly administered by humans in the seams of the whole. Also, IMO, the most powerful AGI will never be as good as the most powerful 'narrow' AI on its specific field of expertise. So it may be that the main motive of a beneficial AGI would be to create way more powerful 'narrow' AI that humans could. There is also the possibility that a non-human AGI will always be an 'other'. So what then? Until what point caution becomes unjustified fear? Is specieism ok?

Sci-Fi is my favourite genre & I read every day for fun + have tonnes of story ideas that I'd seriously enjoy turning into novels and collections of short stories I'd be beyond impressed if I could write goals for different chapters, and have them expanded in detail by an AI writing program. For instance: "The protagonist crash lands on a world with a pre-industrial civilization and goes off to seek help in repairing their ship. Along the way, they make 1st contact with the world's intelligent species & ask for advice on finding a smith that can help with the repairs." Then I could revise what's been produced, share my thoughts & have the ideas reiterated until a final product has been made which is absolutely aligned with the stories I've envisioned creating & sharing with the world

Trial and error is not a good way to approach complex matters, for this more elaborate algorithm and methods that constantly evaluate incrementally added information is needed, true AI can develop in a 360 degree by slowly adding new information to already existed one slowly otherwise it will run fast and far in a narrow-angle degree

The asymmetry of governments having advanced AI while ordinary people do not is extremely dangerous and regulation of AI by states rather than the market or a decentralized system is dangerous.

Linking our biological brains to an electron AI system will require a gating system. I doubt that an adult brain would have the capability for this purpose as it has too narrow a focus and has been optimized for its environment, so for the purpose of gated linking a developing brain will be required and I don't think that such a linkage is humane.
