This is incredible. He is teaching future doctors worldwide better than most professors could. I am forever thankful for the knowledge you have given me.
Not only that. Story time? Used to teach as an associate at my Uni's Psychology Faculty. Our first year students would have to take a massive course in neuroanatomy and physiology of the CNS. Our textbooks were horrible, and I did try to my best to convey the massive curriculum - it just wouldn't stick, though. This is the pre-Corona era we're talking. These are amazing and super informative videos! If we had 'em back in the day, I'd have bought and handed out USBs with the downloaded content, no kidding. One of the most common questions that'd come up on the oral exam was, for example, the Papez Circuit. Like, 1 in 5 odds. The most hated one by the students because of the sheer complexity! I'd usually figure out a way for them to figure it out and talk it through on my exams, but the professors - oh, boy. 0 mercy. However, if any one of my kids gave them HALF an answer of what is provided in the introduction of Zach's video, they'd nail the question with, possibly, the highest mark. I am very busy with finishing medical school right now and building a prosperous hospital with my family, God be willing. Should we succeed, I might go back to teaching at Uni and let my father and sister run the thing (always been more of a scientist than a surgeon :p)! Will improve my teaching based on Zach's, suggest his content, and promote him as an inspiration for my upcoming textbook (a good one, for a change, again, God be willing!)! Advice for neuroscience students (psychology, molecular biology, biology, neuroscience per se, etc.): Learn for your exams using Zach's "Neurology" section! Buy the textbooks, so your professors will be happily "fed" (especially the ego, as it is the part giving you the mark :p), and learn from the guy giving it all to you for free + better! Yours truly, P. White P.S: Way back, even I passed my entire anatomy exam solely thanks to Zach's N. Trigeminus video, but it is a story for another time! xD
I couldn't have said it better!! I'm taking a neurophysiology exam next week (in Greek language) and 'm watching his videos instead of studying my book. Much much more comprehensive and detailed material. Amazing!!
The "Alright Ninja Nerds.." at the end sounds like a reward.. all the hard work you put in to explain all this to us and so well that we understand every single bit is so helpful and legit a blessing.. thank you so much Zach and team
Coincidentally, your neurology series started right when I started studying neuroanatomy and I can't describe how helpful it has been to me. It's almost like I couldn't have done it even half as good without your lectures. Thank you so much for everything.
Your interest in teaching to students that too completely free of cost is completely insane and you teach way way way better than those professors which we pay thousands of dollars. You are the best medical professor Dr. Zach. Thank you so much for providing us these kind of lectures which help us understand more about the body.
Nursing student here. You literally helped me get an A in anatomy and physiology. I have recommended your channel as a resource for nursing students. Can't thank you enough
No. Not to a medical student level. However I wanted to understand more about it rather than the bare minimum which helped me achieve high grades. What I like about this channel is different teaching methods and the way he explains things .
As someone who went to nursing school and now is going to medical school. The content for nursing school like what you need to know here is maybe like 5% of this. For medical school this is all relevant. If you want to learn more good for you!
Clear understanding of anatomy, Covering whole complicated things thoroughly with vivid explanations in a whiteboard within 60 minutes..! You are an actual genius..., Prof. Zach.. Thankfully... from 🇧🇩
You are honestly insane at explaining things, I used your videos 4 years ago while I was studying Biomedical Science and now I've begun studying Dentistry and still these videos help me more than my lecturers! Thank you so much :)
Thank you so so much for this! We're having an exam on the Hypothalamus and Limbic System tomorrow and this is really timely and high-yield! I've always been thankful to discover your channel, and I'm glad to tell my friends about it. You really helped me understand various concepts in Med school and continue to do so. Thank you!
Thank you so much doctor.. In a 1 hour video you cover whole things about Hypothalamus so perfectly and easily as well with proper Diagrams and labelling… once again thank you so much
This neurology video series is immensely helpful. It is very difficult to find the balance between imparting knowledge and having a sense of humor, and you, my friend have successfully become a master in it. Thank you so much, Zach.
Accidentally I found your channel yesterday .. while I was searching for metabolism ...and I loved with your channel...u t the Best biology teacher for me.... thank you.
Very information dense, very challenging video; absolutely loved it! Will be rewarching at least once when I've finished the series on the limbic system and maybe the endocrine system. You do such a good job. Thank you soooo much for what you do, truly gods work.
incredible lecture, you are a genius, gifted teacher. I am sure nobody in the world could explain this in such a clear, helpful and logical way. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much ninja nerd! You are the best lecturer huhu. It's still difficult to process (information overload) but better than by just reading it from the book by myself. Wish me luck in passing my upcoming Neurology exam!
so helpful and clear thank you SO much! as a first year medical student this is making all of the neuroanatomy pieces really finally come together. pray for me my exam is on Monday!!
You guys are saving my neuroscience degree...I swear😂 now I’m not scared of whatever I have to learn because I know I’ll understand it thanks to you💜 so thank you!
