My niece had non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and thankfully she survived great ormond street were amazing with her such a wonderful institution and hospital 🙏❤️
Christ almighty!! You had me in tears talking about your little girl having to be in hospital (Nothing worse than your kids being ill) and then your doctor passing away. But you also are so funny. I absolutely love listening to you two....Perfect couple! 😊
I have health anxiety and it began debilitating. Worse that no one understands it. Finally with counselling I am getting there and no longer think I’m dying daily. Thank you for talking about it x
Abbey is brilliant. She's hilarious and her accent is fantastic. Absolute stunner too. Couchey knows how to wind her up though and that makes for half of the podcast to be honest. He's very likeable actually (nothing to do with my allegiances to LFC). Great dynamic. Keep up the pod.. Love from Ireland
Wow, im watching this in bed this morning coming up to my daughters 2nd diaversary. She was diagnosed with type one diabetes 2 years ago on the 7th April after taking her to the dr as I knew something wasn’t quite right. My partner said I was being neurotic! Haha! Had i not been who knows how things could have ended up! I love the podcast, this weeks made me really emotional - thank you for sharing x
Aw I loved this one! From the advice Pete gave about wanting to succeed in footy (for my son) to him really championing Abbie to believe she can be a doctor, which I fully agree with! I feel the same as you Ab, I’m 35 with ideas of multiple careers and no clue what! It’s never too late once you’ve decided and go for it! All the best doctors are older also 😊 great episode guys ❤
Best podcast ever. Even better on you tube. Wish you had a real life documentary on Tv. It would be hilarious to see you at home living your daily lives. Great banter & hilarious relationship between you love you both x 💕👍
Love it when I've got work wondering what I can find listen to, too make my day fly by and see the therapy crouch as uploaded you and at home with the Buckleys are my favourite celeb couples ❤
Just listened to this on Spotify as usual and abie incensed me so much I hit pause and came here to comment as you implied something my Mrs says alot. Going to work is not a break or a fun time away from the kids or free time in any way it pays the bills and is literally called work
Hi loving the podcast so pleased you have put it on you tube literally hooked and have binge watched all day. We as in me and the hubby can highly recommend the last kingdom especially for you Abbey 😉x
Honestly you 2 🙌😂😂😂.. Cracking me up! My husband and me absolutely buckled every episode, so I’m reassuring you Abbie I’ve got your back and needless to say my husband has Pete’s 🙄.. but seriously you both are exactly the same as us.. We have the best laugh with each other and I think we take it for granted sometimes.. So just letting you know that we up here in Glasgow are loving it!! So just you keep butting in 🤪.. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Oh Abbey 😢 I feel your anxiety I literally just cried over the surgeon story..I’m also from the Wirral (woolly) my mum is from Bootle so I class myself a scouser.. xxx
Such a lovely podcast today, thank you for being so open, really resonates with my mum how Abby parents to. You should be so proud of yourselves, youre both amazing parents in different ways and complement each other. Thanks for the best episode yet. Much love
the word beautiful does not mean just looking beautiful it has a million and one meanings and that is what I see with Abbey! love the way you care and show your love! Peter brilliant he compliments his wife in lots of ways...love your ways ...we should all be kinder to each other because until you have walked the walked we all think we know whats going on in other peoples life's....we LOOK but we don't SEE! perhaps we should FEEL more!
Just quickly: sisal is a plant that is similar to aloe vera. You can use the outer layers to make the rugs, mats, etc. You would need to look up ways to clean aloe mats (or maybe bamboo, as that's quite similar?). Other than that, great stuff. :)
You've dodged a bullet if she doesn't like swimming. Training is 2 hrs before school 2 hours after - So boring for the parent. Galas are 8 hours long and your kid maybe involved for 10 mins if you are lucky. (talking county/national level) And there's bugger all money for most decent swimmers. My dad's been a chief coach for 40 years. Great for health and fitness but the most boring sport for parents and kids ever invented. Love this podcast subscribed
Great stuff you two 👍.waited 3 days to watch this (busy with work etc) love your honesty had me in tears when Abby got emotional about the lovely doctor that passed away 😥..my hubby would defo say I tick all the boxes regards Abbys traits (when pete was describing them in animal terms 😂😂👍) xx
It's really interesting discussing pushing your child into continuing practice. I can't think of any talented Piano player who doesn't talk about hating Piano as a child and being pushed by their parents.. Difficult one for sure..
We need a live agony abs or weekly wine club on a night. Me and my other half both listen to the podcast and it would be a good laugh to have interaction over a few drinks on an evening 🤣👍🏼
Also, in relation to Abbey talking about your daughter she seems traumatised by it and that can then trigger health anxiety. Hypnotherapy isn’t a recommended treatment for that. Seeing an accredited trauma therapist might be more helpful.
Brilliantly funny as ever! 😂! Box sets: to laugh out loud - Stella (with Ruth Jones); Max and Paddy on the road to nowhere (Peter Kay and Paddy McGuinness); detective series - Inspector Rebus by Ian Rankin; to just binge and enjoy every episode over and over again - Friends ❤
As a foreigner, you both agreeing the lad missing Easter in order to see Liverpool play Arsenal is fine, is the most English thing I’ve ever seen it’s hilarious
Take a shot every time Abby says 'incredible'. I do this with my wine, couldn't do it with tequila. Don't get me wrong...I love Abby and I'm a Scouser xxxx
Pete, next time Abbey interrupts one of your stories -- you swiftly interject with "Abbey, obviously the beginning of your story is more important then the middle of mine, please proceed darling!! :-)
Take a shot everytime Abbey says that something is harder for a woman than a man. I like both her and Peter, but this kind of thinking is so narrow minded. As a guy working in the publishing industry, the female to male ratio is 4 to 1. On a personal note, dating for men and women is completely different. Both their pluses and minuses. Women have to filter out weirdos from authentic partners and deal with too much attention. But ultimately this kind of attention is positive reinforcement and let's the person know at least subconsciously that they are desired. This is the complete opposite for a guy. I'm an okay looking lad, yet I rarely get matches on the apps and if i try to strike up a conversation in public with a girl i think is cute, the reaction is like i have leprosy. When my approach ia quite civil and normal. Paying extra on apps to get more swipes and trying to think of conversation starters or thoughtful comments about something in their profile, only to get no response, is very damaging to a person's self esteem. So like them both but she has no idea what it's like for a young guy. It actually grinds my gears a little because even though she's worked hard im sure, she talks about men like they're all the same, while she does have a lot of privilege concerning her looks. Don't mean to be weird but pretty privilege, especially for women, is a real thing.
Don’t rely on apps , it’s too easy to judge someone and quite inauthentic. Get out there and enjoy your life and you’ll meet someone randomly just going about doing what you do 🙏🏼
Hi. This is Michael Phillips from Mumbai India. I love watching and listening to you guys. However, what i am worried about is the "whine club". I understand that you are airing your issues, however i pray and hope that the whining doesn't really get into your lives and develop cracks into your beautiful relationship. The last 2 -3 whines had got me worried about you both. You both are such a lovely couple. Bless ya both.
They have zero to worry about, couldn’t see a more healthier relationship. Talking about small issues makes them stronger and get passed it. Everyone bickers 😂
@@Powzaaaaa Obviously......!!! Coz i didnt ask you or say a thing to you, but you decided to butt in and give your 2p's of worth, when no one asked you for it. So now it brings me to another question...do you always go on this way? Nosey parker !!
The killing your story seems to be a male/female thing. All the time i will get the attention of a room and be like "right so im walking down the road and......" and then the wife just says "he fell in dog shit" Im fuming as i cannot now deliver my hilarious story with the punchline ending
