This run is accessible to understand but skilled and well routed and features a nostalgic childhood classic, so it deserves engagement to boost its viewership
It's been eons since Worms 2 released and it's still such great fun to tweak the weapons in that game. Dang I feel old. Very charming presentation and runner. Thank you for presenting the game!
These runs are incredible and way more people need to see these. Best 3hrs I've spent in a while. Watched this a few weeks ago and came back to comment, because I already liked the video and can't like it a second time.
15:43 saw him lean in to focus and I was wondering what the plan was, the payoff had me smiling. Great run, I definitely didn't consider Worms as a Speedrun game but damn if I wasn't left wanting more.
Worms 2 was also my introduction to the series. It was so much fun creating custom rulesets and just causing carnage, much more so than Armageddon and the later games. All of the older games are absolutely fantastic. And rage inducing.
Oh man what a blast from the past and utter delight that was. I played a TON of Worms growing up so it was really enjoyable to see it ran and the whole crew were very entertaining to watch.
Seeing worms run makes me feel so nostalgic. Sitting back with my brothers and friends, doing hotseat (taking turns on the same PC) and watch the mayhem unfold.
That was awesome! Worms has been such a big part of my childhood, I've played the first up to world party for hours on end against my brothers and friends.
I played an absolute ton of worms 2 online back in the day, and I am amazed that tricks created in the 90s have still carried the same name, like the indian rope trick
Worms 2 and Worms Armageddon is basically my childhood although ironically Worms Armageddon was the 1st one I played and we only had the demo from some or other demo disk but even in the demo you could play hotseat (not all the weapons and features was available though) and it kept us entertained for ages. It's very similar to another old game called Scorched Earth which I think was for DOS
can u imagine? not knowing him, you ask - maybe we will play some Worms 2 today? he replies - ok, that's a good idea! and after that u never launch the game gain. never.
True to the title I've never seen a worms speedrun before, what a treat to get two of them back to back. Was hoping for some rope shenanigans and was NOT disappointed.
