It was never a deal breaker for me. I was never really concerned about having it. When a tire gets low it will alert you on startup. That being said, since I put on 22's I always have it up on the cluster to monitor.

Actually I couldn't care less about TPMS. It's just a gee-whiz gimmick to me. I know how to use and read a proper pressure gauge and I check it manually regularly. As you should too. I've seen faaar too many TPMS units showing the wrong pressure. As they are NOT calibrated, nor are they very accurate. Being an aircraft mechanic, manually checking tire pressures is literally NOTHING to me. Normally accomplished while I'm filling up, as I'll be done well before it's done taking fuel. Maybe two minutes for all four and you're done.
