The fact you're ruining your swords by hitting rocks just speaks volumes on your inexperience with any sword. Regardless of the type EVERY sword will chip against a rock. This is real life brother not an anime
No Offense but i doubt samurai would practice hitting rocks...i think ur conception on what ''blade/steel durability'' is,is off a lil..they never really drew their swords unless it was a bokkan/sparring or gang/war related also i don't know why you can't be happy cutting things that are manageable? like bamboo/treebark or just anything flimsy & i understand having a budget is Obvious, but maybe a vid disapproving True-kitana would be more relevant if you had a blade from them at least a G or more?💁♂- sorrry if that sounded negative my grammar shit' but yeah-
I Appreciate The Comment And Info Soi 🙏🏽 Yes Samurai Didn’t Hit Rocks Like Me😂 And Yes I Am Aware That They Never Really Used Them Like That Which Is Hilarious To Me And Yes I Am Ungrateful It Seems 😂 I Should Just Be Happy Enough That Im Even In The Times Where A Brown Person Could Own A Sword That Does Make Sense Their Higher Priced Katanas Seem Pretty Good From Pictures Though I Would Later Review It
Pretty much any katana will chip on rocks unless you're using something like the one by Cloudhammer made from S5 shock steel. RVA is the only domestic vendor of Cloudhammer items as far as I know.
@@XVIINFINITE Just one more thing about their S5 katana is that it's typically "axe sharp" rather than the normally expected "sword sharp". It can take a serious beating, and deal with heavy targets, but don't expect it to cut paper. lol
Young brother! I disagree… Not being disrespectful but do some more research. Any high carbon steel based Katana that’s hit against rocks SHOULD chip! Any blade from 1060 - 1095 differentially hardened carbon steel and yes even T/10 steel is going to chip if you hit rocks. They were made to cut thru flesh and MAYBE some bone. Tatami mats and bamboo is about the extent of their capabilities in terms of cutting without risk of serious damage. 9260 and MN 65 spring steel are going to be your tougher blades but I still would not recommend beating them in and on rocks.
If your wondering most manufactures for katanas they have premade saya's and they don't fit most because of them being already built instead of being made Just for the katana, i agree with you saying it's ass, my katana all fit their own saya's and i hate how haters say stupid shit just because you might be saying something wrong, you literally have more knowledge then them, i know stuff about katanas but not the direct detail shit im not a katana meth addict like most katana kids, i just want katanas because they make me feel better when im down idk why if im sad or something i hold my katana and it just makes me feel better like my mood idk if the katana and i have bonded but people will call me crazy but idc it's a sword that ive been wanting for years and i bought one with my hard earn money and yeah anyways ik my grammar and spelling is ass but you get my point, have a good day/night.
The Mass Produced Katanas Have Less Quality That’s Right “Katana Meth Addiction” 🤣Hilarious I Forget People Can Be Like That Sometimes And Yes You Are Definitely Bonded With It Like The Anime Bleach I Like Them A Lot Too There’s Something Special To Them And It’s Been A Dream As A Kid To Have One As Well And May You Have A Good Adventure♾️
wait is rva katana better than mini katana? i was gonna get kokushibos katana from mini katana, i was wondering what the best option is for getting the kokushibo sword on either website?
I’d Imagine It’d Take Some Time For A Katana To Be Forged Properly I Know Little Of Damascus Steel Though That Is An Interesting Fact I Like Durable Swords So That’s Good To Know I Just Heard To Watch Out Because Some “Damascus” Swords Aren’t Authentic
that depends on the hardening. a traditionally hardened katana would chip and crack against any kind of rock. one that's trough hardened would last a bit longer, but idk why you would be hitting a rock with a sword anyway.
i mean, i whant to buy a funcional katana of rengoku(anime: demon slayer) and i saw the katana with 10 45, full tang, ´´hi cuality´´ for 144$, but you say ´´never buy from turekatana´´, so, where i can find that?
Getting A Good Replica Is Something I Don’t Know Much Of MiniKatana Has A 1095 Replica Of The Rengoku (The Blade Isn’t Colored Tho) Unfortunately It’s Sold Out At The Moment minikatana.com/products/rengoku-katana-1095-carbon-steel-sharp
@ares9318 Someone Commented Saying HanBon Is A Solid Place And I’ve Looked At The Website A Bit And It Seems Alright Especially The Customize your Own Katana Option That’s Pretty Cool Besides That I Don’t Have Much Information About It
