I liked this story but please continue. Some of the war beast did get away maybe being hunted but how about showing how they adapt on earth. Unusual circumstances where they are injured and need help, helping the lost or injured in the woods, befriending humans or animals who except them. Surrendering not wanting to die. Becoming assistant park rangers. Trying to understand and trying to create a dialog. Trusting learning and finding a niche in the world to survive and grow. How intelligent are they are they pet like or more on level human. I got a lot of questions. Anyway keep putting the stories out because I love how you guys explain that some times not only are we intelligent in these stories but we also use just a little common sense to when. We may not be the biggest dogs in a fight but we won't back down so easily either. Again great story and thanks

The story goes from the mistaken destination with the release of the warbeasts as a data gathering test of their efficiency to an all out "localized" invasion. Once again, it's like a video game with major gaps. Won't make it to the end, it'll probably not have any surprises and be as disjointed as the first half.
