It was great to hear both of your experiences. I made the mistake of going very strict fruitarian for a number of years, and started having health and dental problems. After I started including vegetables, I drastically improved my health and dental health.

Is eating nuts bad? I’m about 50 percent raw vegan but I eat a serving of walnuts, a serving of pistachios and a half a serving of macadamia nuts every day for a total of 450 calories. I need about 2400 a day. I’m 5 10” I usually have a serving with every meal.
How do you feel about raw diets being considered shortsighted at their inception? And how they (the arbitrary notion of "raw" diets) have been denounced by most organizations, scientists, and data?
Raw diets at their inception seemed most natural, (like before man discovered fire and cooking. Most organizations, and scientists would agree that people need to eat a good percentage of FRESH fruits and vegetables, which MOST people fail to do on a daily basis.
My personal belief is that we can learn ALOT from all traditional cultures, and should use the teachings selectively that can benefit us in this day and age. I encourage people not to be dogmatic in their beliefs.
