When this song was first released, a lot of people said that this track was not possible to be played LIVE because of the extremely fast-paced and complex riffs/licks, but here we are. BTW, the long hiatus after their ex-bassist left the band set them back a bit but hopefully their international tour this year will get them the attention that they deserve.
LOVEBITES - Winds Of Transylvania lyrics: Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion Taking in my hands, satisfaction Deep into the neck, only delusion Can't resist, insane tonight Shining like a vine, never enough Dripping off my hand, cause of desire Piece of tragedy, fading in moonlight Sink in red, I'm falling down Painting truth and lies, over and under Chasing round 'n' round, closer to thunder Pushing to the edge, never surrender Shades of cross inside of my head Flaming memories of the past Burn inside of the bloody red eyes Lying Borderline of a Castle Winds of Transylvania Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere, Fleeting empty fate Break it down, like a game and I go fallin' now Make it all end A silent break of dawn, now the curtain rise Blood, Thirsty like a lost butterfly Reaching in now to get you, but then let you go again Veil searching us under the moonlight Let me in to a place by immortal fascination Now, show me the way of the parade tonight SOLO: miyako / midori / both Sneaking to that vein, ever devotion Taking in my hands, satisfaction Deep into the neck, only delusion Can't resist, insane tonight Flaming memories of the past Burn inside of the bloody red eyes Lying Borderline of a Castle Winds of Transylvania Innocent lullaby, chasing everywhere, Fleeting empty fate Break it down, like a game and I go fallin' now Make it all end A silent break of dawn, now the curtain rise Blood, Thirsty like a lost butterfly Reaching in now to get you, but then let you go again Veil searching us under the moonlight Let me in to a place by immortal fascination Now, show me the way of the parade tonight I wait and see Take me away to paradise LOVEBITES ! ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Glory, Glory To The World 03/10/2021
love it, when M&M both play V guitars. although the show was covid restricted, the performance of the ladies was impeccable. they deserve so much more recognition.
Thanks for a great reaction. I know that the ladies Midori, Miyako, and Asami are all in the 34-36 year old range. Very young for my age, but with this much musical experience they have become masters of their craft.
I think because of the level of musicianship and amazing production on their concerts, its easy to get the idea they are a very big and established group when in reality they are sitll growing. Fun fact, in terms of numbers Fami's (the current bassist) youtube channel is like 6 times bigger than the band. (i would totally recommend watching some of her covers too, Alien alien usually the one that blows peoples minds).

Surprisingly they're not as big as you would imagine - or as they deserve to be ! Even in Japan they tend to play mid sized venues rather than massive arenas - which is sad as with their talent they should be ENORMOUS . They're playing Hellfest in France again this year ( first time for a while ) and embarking on a world tour so hopefully by the end of 2024 their profile will have risen to where it deserves to be - right at the top !
Sadly, their following is not huge. Just 123k YT subs which is just criminal. Genre aside, one of the most talented bands in music period. Pure music and it's 100% genuine and epic! Great reaction guys! 🤘
If they were around in the late 1980s, they would have been one of the biggest bands in the world. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest would have been opening for them.
The music video Vladlove version of this song is wicked. I prefer that over the live version! Not that the live version is bad. It is fantastic. But the MV gives it an extra umpf. Same with the When Destinies Align tune!
Good question - Lovebites are a hidden gem. They honestly have relatively low subscriber numbers on all platforms. It’s weird. I don’t get it. But I will say this - once you discover them it’s forever. Compare to Nemophila… way more YT subs, but a lot of that was from their many, many cover songs they did on the channel. They are awesome and my #2 band, but surely aren’t more popular than Lovebites 🤘🎸🐺
Shockingly enough, Lovebites are not that big even in Japan as it might seem from the devoted YT bubble. They typically play at smaller venues, and while it may sell out, it sometimes takes a while. They play a rather niche genre that mostly appeals to older metalheads like us. They even consciously chose the wolf as their logo to signify they are the lone wolves of the music scene.
Unfortunately I agree with you. Heavy metal is not popular here in Japan at all. BABYMETAL is famous as an idol group that has become popular among foreigners. Then, at the LOVEBITES concert, most of the audience were men over 60. I hope they become popular all over the world in the future.
@@nakamura1323 For example, I don't care what place LOVEBITES occupy in Japan. They play what I really like. And my dream is that they would continue to play this metal of the highest standard. And even though BABYMETAL are popular somewhere, for me they are a dance-pop metal group. Sorry if I offended fans of this group.
Great song, great reaction. IMO the music video/studio version is slightly better. Even though they pull this off live, the polished studio version creates the best feeling of controlled chaos.
There are three reasons I attribute to LOVEBITES not being as big as they should be. The biggest reason is because they primarily play power metal and thrash metal, two genres that most metalheads are quite familiar with. LOVEBITES plays those genres at a high level, but they're not terribly innovative. The second reason is their record label hasn't supported/promoted the band as they should. The third reason is because rock and metal aren't the dominant musical genres anymore. The majority of people in the civilized world would be more interested in these five ladies if they were a pop group or backup dancers for some dumbass rapper.
Sadly, Power and Thrash metal has had its day. But there are still millions of old school metal heads around the world still listening to their old Maiden and Priest albums who would love this band if they knew they existed.
@@1970PhoenixTruth. I was just blasting Powerslave and Redeemer of Souls today. I wish these ladies had a bigger fanbase. Been a fan since Clockwork Immortality.
I love Asami a lot and she is a great front woman. However, there is a portion of the metal community who do not like her vocals (and it's not because she doesn't use harsh vocals) which is another contributor to their less than expected popularity.
@@ChadTheDragonLord It took me a while to get accustomed to Asami. I thought she was beautiful, but her voice didn’t jive with me for a while. Same with Mayu from Nemophila. Now I love and adore both women.
