Is it really tho from a writing standpoint? Sure the animation a d art is but what about the writing? Why haven't the Vizards used their hollow masks yet? Why does Kenpachi feel lame even after his power up, how come Shinji get beat like that when he clearly should've won? Plus if you read the Manga then you'll definitely know that more bad writing is on the way.

I think that was just demonstrating how fast he moved from the crash landing to Kenpachi, the air displacement couldn't keep up

Only thing that woulda made that moment better is if they added the distortion lines like in the og series

@@Arfreezy I can see that being the case, he went from crashing in front of them to being behind them, and even Candice is like "When did he get behind us?". Reminds me a bit of when he used Sonido to get to Byakuya in the first part, the Sternritter all got confused because he seemed to disappear briefly.

Following him getting owned by Askin, Kudo literally had no idea where to go with Ichigo in this arc, same boring repetition, the fact that we still don't know what his bankai is while we seen, 'improve' versions of other fan favorites is a disgrace

@@asasdsaasda Brother, you realize several changes have been actively made to the arc to improve upon the original source material correct? More information on the history of the quincies, better showing of squad 0 in it's entirety, expanding several fights that needed expansion (With some sadly getting a bit cut down, though not missing a whole lot) We haven't even gotten to his bankai in the anime yet. If squad 0, one of the main disappointments in the manga, was able to be fixed and beat the fraud allegations is there a reason that Ichigo's bankai won't get expanded? No? Then chill out bud.

It's not a cloud, it's the form his reaitsu takes now everytime he's releasing it. It also becomes instantly visible when he does because he now has acces to his full power
