this had me eternally fall in love with Sode No Shirayuki back in the day, it stunned me how gloriously beautiful the design just for her sword alone could be. This was like a dream come true to see a fantastically animated Bankai.

The most beautiful Zanpakuto definitely earned her rutile here. That was awesome! And let’s give a chef’s kiss to whoever composed that music for Rukia as her Bankai is revealed. 10/10 episode!

The anime captured the beauty of Rukia's Bankai perfectly. Knowing that it has a duel affect to the user, and also being very powerful too if properly handled.

Not only did this do the manga pages justice, it also went above and beyond by overlapping the outro music before the fight was officially won, letting even the fans who didnt read the manga know: "this fight is already over, rukia's just showing off" (as she's earned by this point in the series). excellent animation and production!

Rukia is my favorite Bleach character. I've been waiting a long time to see this in animation. Finally we see Rukia back in action, using her new zanpakuto powers, and BANKAI! And what a beautiful Bankai it was! As Nodt got one-shotted!

It was after this moment and Rukia's later appointment as captain that really made me crave for a arc focused on her alone. The newest arc is 12 years past this which is a perfect timeskip as by that point Rukia will have been able to start bringing out her Bankai's power. Remember that it takes around a decade for a Shinigami's Bankai to truly mature into a useable WMD and even more time to truly bring out a Bankai's full potential, so keep in mind that as impressive as this display was, at this point Rukia's Bankai is a fledgling, which means that she alot of room for growth.

This is by far the best episode of this final season. Rukia has one of the top 5 bankai ever. So deadly but so majestically beautiful.

This might be the thing that finally gets me to watch Bleach. I don't know what it is about this clip, but I just keep coming back to watch it over and over. Well, one thing it may be: I absolutely love the way Rukia says "Hakka no Togame", the close up of her face and the superb voice acting at that moment AND from her opponent as he dies, just wow.
