I own a flower/ plant shop and I constantly have people come in and try to bargain with us. It does drive me crazy especially since we have pretty decent prices and have a sale going on all the time.

Lol I went to a place that sells lots of cacti and succulents which I love. The owner was very nice and gave me lots of types of widow's thrill and he kept bringing more of them, potting them, and giving me for free. I felt bad to tell him that they are not that exciting for me and I prefer more interesting weird plants 😅 he was so proud of them lol

I tend to take cuttings from peoples front yards. I see it as making the word more beautiful. I've never been into plant trends....I choose only what I find most attractive. I give garden advice to strangers, and once was asked if I would like a job at a garden centre. In my country (New Zealand) we dont have a very large variety of indoor beauties like you have. And prices are way out there. Over $150 for a small Ruby elastica. I'm astonished at the many plants and your ability to remember their botanical names. Love your videos and love plants!!! Jo.🌻
Somebody told me cactus/succulents were easy I’ve killed every single one I’ve had by loving them too much. I’m good at calathea and peace lilies if that gives you an idea of my care style.
Jord & His Plants I don’t really have the light for cacti and succulents. I live in Seattle where it’s deeply grey all winter and I don’t have any south facing windows. I’m not willing to invest in a large light system.
the trick with succulents is to feel the leaf if it is hard then its full of water.. dont water it.. if it is soft and marshmallow like then water it well right to the bottom of the pot and leave it alone for a month or two until the leaf gets soft again
Just want to say that I have bargained for a plant and it was actually at a grocery store lol (Sobeys), before, but in my defense the lady working there asked me what I would be willing to pay. I came home with my bargain Calathea Freddie, which is growing beautifully and remains the only Calathea I have not regretted bringing home 🙂

Okay only 3 and never have I ever gone anywhere and not looked at there plant section 1st lol. In fact there are 2 stores I go though grocery stores I go just to check the plants out. I rarely buy food at them.
