Idk why this made me sad when I was younger, maybe due to the fact I knew this could be the last 2D animated picture of Disney.. And I was right, sadly. 2D Disney's animation should return
I've gotta admit this fits the ending credits, it reflects Naveen being blinded by money and not seeing everyone who he love not there until taina came into his life and made him see who he loved the most appear. I was only 2 years old and now 15. This movie is my number one fav due to it being the last animated hand drawing movie.
This movie came out when I was 10. I am 22 and had my first dance at my wedding to this song. It is so beautiful and nostalgic and this movie is my favourite disney movie of all time ❤️ The older I get the more I love it
Now it’s 10 but it will be 11 in a few days, Jesus I can’t believe this decade is almost over and this is the 1st decade to where I was alive to see all of it
Fun fact: The original idea for Louis it was about him as a human who couldn't make music, but he made a contract with Dr.Facilier to make him create music, as the same thing that happened to Naveen, happened to him just that it turned into a lagator. Thus he finds Tiana and Naveen in a journey for the three of them to be human, but this got cancelled because it made the movie longer. Such a shame, we were so close to see a human Louis :(
NαrαnjitαSαbrositα Yeah it’s a shame, but if The princess and the frog had a sequel it would be about Louis, and I’ll bet we’ll see him transform into a human and back into a gator again. And heck maybe we’ll see Tiana have a baby and see if it’s a boy or a girl.
The end credits of this movie always make me cry. 😭 It's hard to believe that it's already been over 10 years since its release! I was 9 years old when I first watched this movie and now I'm 20. The Princess and The Frog had such a huge impact on my life! I love this movie so much! 😭💚
Yo same here! I was like 8 or 9 and my mom wanted to see this movie. I didn't understand it at the time but now I do, I cherish this movie dearly. Also um love the Persona games, always wanted to play them.
I used to watch the whole movie on repeat continuously including the credits. Hell, to be honest despite it being a wonderful and underrated movie I mainly did it so I could watch these credits. And I'm still completely enthralled by them even all these years later... they couldn't have done it more perfectly!
0:54 I like the part when they look like they turn into frogs again I wish this takes place after they were married, like they probably ask permission from mama Odie to be frogs again, but this time to be alone together away from civilization that distract them from their misery then before. I just hope this will happen in the series if I have to cross my fingers for it cause I don’t care whether they’re frogs or humans I choose what they appear to be.
between the hauntingly melodious line, quietly energetic rhythm, and gorgeously restrained harmonies, this song transforms R & B/soul into a new genre--as though voices, instruments & tempo met spontaneously at a nexus of pure music. one of a kind; closing credits spark lyrics into life, animation meshing seamlessly with song. could listen and watch--unbroken--adrift on a raft from one end of the Pacific to the other
They played this on disney this week and I cried cause I remember being like 8 seeing a black princess and it made me cry cause I'm so lucky it happened in my time
This movie was crazy about parents Tiana in this movie was the only Disney princess to only have her mother alive and Prince Naveen is the only Disney prince to have both of his parents alive and to have a sibling
They need to add her restaurant at Disneyland or DisneyWorld and that will make my childhood completely kids now a days don’t understand how Disney was actually better for us
Nothing can compete to the feeling I went after just watching Princess and the Frog then going to Disney in 2012 and having her be the first princess I seen irl. I remember everyone's face walking around and then seeing her and naveen and getting them to sign my autograph book which I'm depressed I lost
Funny how I didn't like how cheesy this song was the first time. Today I still find it cheesy, but it's okay, since it is also lovely and nostalgic, with a spoonful of truth.
Just saying this is a children movie and the shadow man parts aren't for children cause if u were 2 years old you'd get night mares but it is a good movie I'm just saying
Ho sempre pensato che la principessa e il ranocchio fosse uno dei lavori migliori della disney ed così la disney e un ottima casa produttrice che fa sempre film bellissimi e stupendi che sottovalutano sempre.
For the way you changed my plans For being the perfect distraction For the way you took the idea that I have Of everything that I wanted to have And made me see there was something missing, oh yeah For the ending of my first begin (Ooh, yeah yeah, ooh, yeah yeah) And for the rare and unexpected friend (Ooh, yeah yeah, ooh, yeah yeah) For the way you're something that I'd never choose But at the same time, something I don't wanna lose And never wanna be without ever again You're the best thing I never knew I needed So when you were here I had no idea You are the best thing I never knew I needed So now it's so clear, I need you here always My accidental happily (Ever after) The way you smile and how you comfort me (With your laughter) I must admit you were not a part of my book But now if you open it up and take a look You're the beginning and the end of every chapter You're the best thing I never knew I needed So when you were here I had no idea (When you were here) You the best thing I never knew I needed (That I needed) So now it's so clear, I need you here always (Now it's so clear) Who knew that I could be (Who knew that I could be) So unexpectedly (So unexpectedly) Undeniably happier Sitting with you right here, right here next to me Girl, you're the best You're the best thing I never knew I needed (Said I needed) So when you were here I had no idea (When you were here) (Said I had no idea) You're the best thing I never knew I needed (That I needed) So now it's so clear I need you here always (Now it's so clear) (So clear, so clear, I need you always) Now it's so clear, I need you here always
Even though the credits say that this movie is partly inspired by "The Frog Princess" by E.D. Baker, this movie is mainly based on "The Frog Prince" by The Brothers Grimm.
