And then if I tried to discuss the raging, the hypocrisy, or the double standard, OR MY personal favorite....100 s of times he would say sorry for neglect and He would PROMISE to spend quality, alone time together, ---- would never happen in 4 years! Fed up, gave up, saw one of these videos and been learning how to get Me back, now that I know what I am up against. Secretly arranging to move out, fortunately I have a good solid alibi. I am sorry to hear that Jamie. I am still at war with the Narc that is trying to destroy me and my ex-wife Linda although she is not aware of the serious danger she is in. I am relying on God to deliver us because this extremely covert narcissist has us both trapped. He has been attacking me and Linda continually for seven and a half years although I was not aware for the first few years but gradually I became aware something is wrong. The Narc just wants his supply and does not care who who he hurts in the process to get it. The Covert Narc that attacks me continually practices extreme false humility that is why as far as I know no one really knows he is a narcissist because he acts so nice. I've be no contact with a Narcissistic at my children's school. For four years now, she's being trying hover me up and gas light me. I can't wait to change my children's school. I feel so uncountable going there every single day having to see her.
I worked for a malignant narcissist. I was running one of his 2 factories and increased production fourfold. He didn't like the fact I socialised with 2 other employees once. When he found out, he stormed into my office and accused me of something outside my realm. In the very next breath standing over me demanded I sack one of the two that I went out with. From then on the devaluing was relentless. Two months later I was relegated to the most demeaning position.He then took control of where I was what duties I had to do on my weekends. I walked. Life has never been the same. Fifteen months later he had authorised someone else to open my personal mail and photograph the contents and send it to me via email. Hoping I would be stupid enough to call back and give an address. I lost my health upon realising the full impact of the damage he had caused. I have itemised all infractions and emailed a letter to the General Manager. His weak reply was " if I feel agreaved to call him" I am about to approach A Current Affairs to expose him and the manipulation tactics, harassment and intimidation in the workplace. Everything in this video is soo true. I was that target for almost 50yrs. Now all I see are Male Narcissists and I come to discover that some family are Narcissists too. I wish I had this info on Narcs. Years ago. I was living in total confusion, manipulation I was being gaslighted, cheated on debased in company, I was not allowed to know ex's earnings he controlled the finances which meant I didn't get an allowance for clothes I didn't get a rise in housekeeping as inflation arose when I asked I was told " he didn't have anymore money". I struggl ed for years until my last child started school I took courses did night duty in a Nursing home for the Physically and Mentally challenged. I worked part time and when the youngest started Grammar School I went fulltime into Receception work with a large International Construction Company. I progressed from this where I was asked my another Company to join them as a PA. This is where it all well pear shaped. The insults started,the trying to put me off the job. It went on so covertly that a magnifying glass or Microscope would never have picked it up. My sister had no idea my ex was treating me this way. Everyone thought he was the quiet gentleman including her. Anyway I never took the PA job when I told him about being offered it it was a
Contd., downhill course of making me feel inadequate putting doubts in my head so I would feel nervous and Not Believe in myself. He won I didn't take the job offer. I stayed with a very good employer. After months of all my ex's put downs etc etc. I left that employment and I retired . I had been ill on and off for years. It was then discovered I had a Chronic illness. I was constantly ill. Then in 2013 I took seriously ill and had to be taken to hospital were I was immediately brought to theatre for a imminent life threatening major operation. I could have died or have been left with lifestyle changes. I survived the op. A couple of days later my stitches burst in my stomach, Sepsis set in and my organs started to fail. I battled through was five weeks in hospital and came home with hole in my tummy still open. It took 7months to close from me coming home. I had to wear a drainage pump for months to drain away any toxins from my opened wound. The Consultant could not find a Valid reason why my Bowel Perforated and after chatting to me for quite sometime and eventually hearing of the life I had been living and all that burying of emotion and all that insult and deprivation and raising my five children and trying to make ends meet in a loveless marriage to a person who looked out more for himself was the root cause of my health problems. When you constantly live in a fight/flight existence. One's body is not performing at it's best and it's optimum. While your Mental health is also struggling to figure all the abuse out it is not working at it's optimum performance either put the two together something has to give. I have to tell this to those of you out there that may be going through this and maybe some on their own. Please don't live this life . It is just a pathetic existence. GET HELP. You deserve it. You are a unique human being. Only one of YOU in the whole Universe. How's that then? I am 6yrs parted from my ex husband. It was the best thing I ever did and the hardest. I am still healing it's hard to do at 73yrs. But not as hard and soul destroying as living with a Narcissist. Of any type. I am a Christian and it would be remiss of me not to say that my Faith helped me through. I talked to God I poured my heart and soul out to Him and I handed over all to Him. I am happier, at peace and I have my 5 adult children and 16 grandchildren to fill what's left of my life. This is so true, there was a covert narcissist woman, she had a smirk after she try to manipulate me the first time that I was fooled to think she wanted to help me. Its true she feed up with my emotion. But the second time she played the second part of her show I figured out she was manipulating me. I kept calm and left. No contact ever. I told all my families what she did and she is very likely be a sociopath, everybody trusted me, and one of my family who was very friendly to her finally found out the truth about her decided will not treat her as a friend any more and will gray rock her as well. The covert narcissist thought she was so smart, but I witnessed how she made her life miserable just cause she thought she is so intelligent. She is filled up with self-hate and restless in her heart. In the beginning I felt bad for her cause she is having a hard life, in the end I figured it ALL make sense that her life ends up in that way.
In my humble opinion, as someone recovering from NPD abuse, one problem when it comes to EXCUSES is how a significant part of the anti-NPD community claims it's the narc's "bad childhood" or "low self-esteem" self-justication for their abuse. That is SO STUCK in the 1980s psychological mumbo jumbo of rationalizing others BAD BEHAVIOUR that it makes me almost think that some narc created some of this anti-narc playbook here and there! I basically still remain a hostage in my own home, the narcissist living with us has so successfully decieved and manipulated my ex-wife Linda whom I care for because she has many health problems. So basically in her eyes he can do no wrong, so the narcissist can remain in my home because on my own I cannot evict him. He is trying at times to trip me up so that he can get me to talk to him. I still refuse to speak with him as I know he is looking for emotional fuel. All I do is keep on ignoring him. He has been living with us for over seven years and used to be Linda's ex-boyfriend, he is close to 62 years old. All I do is keep praying that one day God will remove him from my home.

He kept promising it was only temporary. Over the years Linda had said good things about him so I never thought he was an evil person. So I decided to agree with her and let him stay with us so he could get back on his feet. It was all lies. It took a very long time to find out who he was because he has excellent skills in deception and manipulation. He is the cerebral type narc, extremely covert, extremely malignant, His great strength lies in the fact that he had learned very well to be fake nice, fake caring, fake charming, fake humble. He is so good at being mr nice while very subtly, insidiously, cunningly, Craftily deceiving, manipulating and gaining control. Linda is totally deceived, that is why I cannot get rid of him. Linda has health issues, she needs constant help especially mentally.
Another accurate video ,thank you, I had to account for my every movement, who I was with, where I had been, what was said et cetera. meanwhile she had so many secrets, and absences. If I ever dared to mention or ask anything I was accused of being controlling and possessive. It was awful how she played with me.
The problems start when narcissists think they have a right for their view of others no matter how unrealistic it is, because this kind of people don´t care about quality. All they care about is their own rights of talking no matter how much bullshit it is. I have noticed that Clarice describes narcissists in a way that I can relate to. The reason being is that the way she talks about them in their worst light, is exactly how my sister is. She is always showing all of the worst characteristics one could imagine, plus she is so evil in her ways that she is impossible to get along with. She contradicts herself in the same sentence constantly. She literally stonewalls you on every sentence in every interaction with her and then proceeds to tell you what you are thinking and she is always wrong. She has all of the social and finacial issues that are characteristic of these types and she attempts to extort money from me to pay her personal bills that she flakes on. I need to go no contact but am unable to because of life's circumstances and she is using it to her own advantage as much as she can without a care about anything or anyone else. I am so trapped and full of angst I am about to explode.
I have a worker that always controlled and manipulate me. She was frustrated when I said no to her request. She backstabbing and continue telling lies to our co workers. I gave a lot of favor to her coz I though she's a friend and confidant. We're the only two that came from same culture or country so I can trust her but I'm only been used coz I'm senior than her and know the job even she works on same agency for the long time but I'm office senior than her. She just transferred to our office so more favor when it comes to vacation leave. She hated me since I blocks her tentative leave. Screaming in front of my coworker and customer N telling lies at my back. I’m a lot better now than before for stayed away from her. Now that I heard from u-tube about narcissism, I got a knowledge on how to protect myself against her tactics so IGNORED and overpowered her makes her more irritated 👌
When they are adult kids I stayed the hell away. I moved around like a sleek cat. Do as I say but not as I do so typical. Such an excellent spot on. Run you will not have a life. They become our evil. My kids believe his deceitful lies. Now they have been cheated out of my life and my grand kids. His triangle was very articulate took years. So exactly true..😖 my ex to a tee! ..and several of his relatives.. So difficult as a young wife and mother.. but I was finally able to face each of them without showing emotion.. then finally out of the marriage.. but with children and grandchildren not able to go completely no contact. However I get thru it better now. With my ex I couldn't run into anyone from my past for a brief conversation or he was doing covert punishment.. when all the while he had one of his lined up so quickly because it was already going on and he became open about it right after the divorce and remarried within 2 yrs. I have not remarried and waited 11 yrs before even thinking about dating.. and not with previous boyfriends.. nor contacted them in any way.

I'm doing very well and marking great progress. I'm very proud of myself. Always interested in New input. And maybe I can be of help to someone else. I love reading others experiences and thoughts. But, Mary T., is a big time trigger for Me. Scares Me. Sounds just like my NM. I've been NO CONTACT for years. Totally triggered Me. I guess, my recovery is not as strong as I thought it was.
