Oops, I did an architecture and posted two videos at the same time! Anyway, check out Train Valley World on Steam now: tblink.co/TVWRealCivilEngineer Thanks to TinyBuild for sponsoring, despite me being an idiot at times!
I watched the second one first. Didn't get to leave a like or a comment, as it was deleted before I finished the video, but I did get to watch the entire thing. Now what to do tomorrow at 11 since I've seen that video already... 🤔
i have to laugh cause the video was taken down RIGHT as you were about to click the coin on the other video. for a moment i thought it was a part of your video.
Those are all city names around Lake Constance, which is located between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Lake Constance even looks almost correct. BTW: "Friedrichshafen" is pronounced "freed ricks ha fan" and basically means "Fredrick's port" (named after a King called Friedrich/Fredrick)
@@Wodan94 I said "basically". English speaker always have problems with "ch" sound, and in this case it really doesn't matter. So I decided to not be pedantic.
For some added context the reason you have to build a zeppelin is because one of the most famous companies out of the city was founded by Ferdinand von Zeppelin which is where the name comes from. The Zeppelin GmbH is still one of the biggest employers in the city.
Ok, i gota release my train nerd here: the large locomotive you liked named Ohio was bassed on Chesapeake and Ohio M-1 class build by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1947. It was a very large streamlined steam turbine locomotive. They were quite fast and extremely powerful. That was when they worked and they rarely did so they were nicknamed ,,Sacred Cows". After barely 3 years they were all scrapped. But for sure they looked cool!
all the cities exist but they are displaced a bit to make them make sense in the game. Meersburg and Konstanz are both cities directly on the lake. the location of Konstanz in the game is more like at the real world city of Singen.
the map you are playing is set at the border between switzerland (St. Gallen lies here) and germany (Konstanz). The water you have there is the lake of constance...love it as a swiss living in germany (it's actual the region where most of my life happend) 😁
This map actually shows the Bodensee which are sharing Germany, Swizerland and Austria! Konstanz is a german city which some people may know, because there is a highway nearby, which is being used by many travelers, who want to drive to italy during their vacation! But also for truckdrivers this is a very important route between north- and south-europe!
To be fair to the clock tower city, my kitchen has like 5 clocks on different appliances, there's 3 more clocks in my living room, and there's a clock on my computer, tablet, and phone. It's not like I need 20 clocks, they just accrue.
So, some parts of this game reminds me of Railroad Tycoon (and i mean 1). Like the locos, and that trains can pass on a single line (altough in RT you could change that so that you had to build stations along the line for trains to pass)
i must say when i was younger i watched maney lets play channels but i grown out of preety much all of them. But i dont even know why this channel is so nice to watch.
First thing to do in this game is a passenger route and when researched a specialist to boost passenger profit, that will fund the early game so you always have good money coming in.
There is an upcomming upddate to planet crafters in a few weeks, not sure when, but there is going to be a rover/car added. would be cool to see what intresting things you would be able to do with it
I really want a railroading game that lets you build up locomotive options piece by piece. It seems like all the existing games only use historical models; it would be a ton of fun for anyone wanting to fine tune or make inefficient monstrosities.
When are we going to get graced with a cameo from the ReallyLittleCivilEngineer? If Matt can manage a rail empire, he can build an I/O device that allows an infant to play videogames.
Seems smart to focus on transporting higher tier things other companies are supplying. Less costs for the same revenue. And do only lower ones when youre saturated.
"... I can't go (like) here, I can only go a'roun' the back." Hmmmm, that sounds like architect talk; However, the reader is likely able to identify it, it's the same sort of speech from those who buy the tablets to "mightier" their strong shapes or the insight to that "one, special, nighttime-ritual to 'leave their partner' in devoted-ecstasy.
Never let an engineer… … design liveable buildings? … design places people wish to reside within? … dare I say it? 😂 Yes! I dare! 😮 … build functional *and* attractive bridges? 😊
heh, I just watched aliensrock's video of this game, like it was the video I watched directly before this one. I didn't even realize they were the same game until I started watching this one.
Not gonna lie at the beginning of the video when the screen started swirling inwards I was so tired I thought my iPad was falling and went to put my hand behind it to stop it.
Once my reign of terror begins, I'll name you minister of trail transport. When people see the trains don't run on schedule, they'll never suspect me of being a fascist dictator.
@@KingBlackWire He can put it in the first frame of the video and shout it out in the first second, that doesn't help at all. As long as it's not in the thumbnail or the title, I can't see it unless I click on the video.
