Could you try doing a land speed record challenge? All the builder games you play would be cool for it, like besiege, plasma, scrap mechanic, and best of all, ksp. Those videos are usually really popular.
Bit shame that wooden wings didn't work, but absolutely beautiful plane and bombing pattern. Could easily go as ww2 era giant tube full of bombs kind of bomber.
Watching this guy build bombs, I'm watching him slowly work through the mental steps required to make the incendiary and anti personnel ordinances we have today lol. He just naturally showed up to a rudimentary version of them. I gotta get this game, it looks like a ggrrreat way to recreate bombs that exist and have been used. I'm sure with enough effort even a dam buster could be made
I love seeing missile designs and planes in this game so much, makes me wish there was some sort of multiplayer pvp despite how incredibly laggy it would be. Robocraft come back, I miss you.
The reason your airplane couldn't take off is because the main gear were too far back. Ideally, an aircraft with tricycle gear like the one you created will have the main gear just aft of the center of mass of the plane, so that they rest under the pivot point when you pull back to take off. Pilots call this moment "rotation", because the plane rotates around the center of mass. If you keep the main gear too far aft, it acts like a wheelie bar, keeping the nose down and preventing you from climbing.
I have writer's block for the book I'm trying to write, meanwhile this fucking legend is building a bomber plane out of wood and dropping shrapnel grenades on medieval villages.
First time watching a video of yours and enjoying the content, not sure if anyone's told you this before but with your voice and the way you walk through your build process you sound a lot like Nigel from Nile Red.
For a cluster bomb you could had made the fins angle abit so it would spin as it falls down, then have a hopper system so that small grenades would fall out as it spins. Finally have a sensor and times delay so once the bomb hits the ground all the grenades would detonate.
I’m kinda surprised for the cluster bombs that you didn’t have the wheel pieces counter-rotate in order to keep them straight. Also, another idea I had for weaponry would be a projectile that first fired a ballast at a target, then shooting a bomb into the hole the ballast made for an armour piercing effect
You might have been able to use the panel panel pieces to add a protective fairing around the bombs so that way they can bounce around in the hopper but still explode from a higher impact because the pieces would break and put the bomb contact whatever hit then again I might not have worked because I haven’t tried it nor have I played the game

RU-vid just randomly suggested this video. It is interesting how the designs evolve similar to real aircraft bombs advancing in technology. Surprisingly realistic thought process from the creator!
Okay so this game recently came out on Xbox game pass and ever since I saw this game I dreamed of building a plane. So I attempted it and although I had low expectations I ended up making a super controllable plane that has full range of motion that a plane should, and a couple weapons (rockets). It has no trouble taking off or landing (doesn't even blow up on a hard landing). I'm really proud of it and dont really have anywhere to share my accomplishment, so I figured I'd drop it here. Can't wait till more contents come to besiege game pass.
Great video! I've never heard of this game, it's very Kerbal Space Program-ish and I can't wait to try it. Control advice - the horizontal stabilizers (fins on the tail) are too small. If you make them bigger and add elevators to the tail, that should give you enough pitch control. You might also consider adding canards - small fins on the front of the plane that work as elevators, but for this design, it might be much more effective.
That was super cool. Most I did was build a balloon with a prop to pull it down, and four props to drive it, and a flamethrower. It was the dumbest, and most functional thing I ever built.
Awesome! I wanted to see the perspective of a villager... you look up in the sky, see this massive plane heading your way high up and far away, you watch the bombs fall and the whole ground explodes in fire around you, gotta be damn terrifying
Okay a few tips for more effective bombers -instead of ballast, take grenades and time charge them roughly 5 seconds after dropoff. You can do that automatically with the timer -Make sure to shrink everything down in the end, using for example hardscale, smaller planes lag less and are usually lighter -Use skins (I can only promote the Al and st series of skins for their great quality) -Use small rockets facing to the back of the plane as flares. Most modern fighters have a few 6 - or 8 radar targeting missiles nowadays. Know how to avoid them -Structural integrity makes our well literally breaks a build. Use more shafts to keep everything together. -Drop off unessecary weight. Make disposable parts of the plane dropable with grabbers. This will be a) a way to relief weight and b) a budget grade bomb . Well that's it maybe also get some tail guns or other 6 guard but the plane is pretty solid there's not too much you can improve here otherwise
G'day mate! I would like to put forward and idea. Historicly, strategic bombers could carry a lot more bombs. For example in the case of the B-29 superfortress x40 incenteary bombs or even (with modification) an atomic weapon. I don't know anything about this game's physics, or how laggy it would be, but i am hoping to be able to see this in the future. I don't want to push anything on you, have a great day! Cheers.
Soldier one: "nice weather, isnt it?" Soldier two: "yes... Wait whats that up there?" Bomber plane: *fortunate son starts playing* "I love the smell of napalm in the morning!!!"
