It's an amazing piece of television, for sure. And I loved that show. But this also just makes me sad. The only person who doesn't take delight in somebody's misery during the clip is Marrianne Faithful. And she's a fucking god. Okay, yes, and Phil Jupitus whose always kind of amazing. Okay, lots of cool stuff during the clip. Still makes me sad.
MAkr knew a lot about music and it showed. In this episode he was particularly barbed as he had been irritated by the guests. As Phil said in an interview 'there was no side to Mark' and thats why I thought he was brillliant. No bullshit just straight up funny, savage and as blunt as a baseball bat with a nail through it.
I really liked both Mark and Simon, but guests that go on there and just have a bad attitude and refuse to have fun only have themselves to blame when they catch hell.
