I like this style, i used thumb count since day one, but now its gonna change thank you.... I find it hard at first but few tries later its more natural than what i used to.
Thanks so much my man! Really appreciate that. Considering this was my first video ever that’s really wild to hear, I feel like I’ve come such a long way in my teaching😁

@@ReidFerry and I just checked out your channel, I love Omegle content and you are really good! I'll do my best to spread it, you deserve more subs and you'll get there! Best of luck!
Great tutorial Reid, I am a beginner and have been struggling with a lot of the moves,(I'm also a lefty so that doesn't always help!!) been practicing the pinky count but not great, same with the push off, I wanted to get the push off as I wasn't too keen on the get ready of the pinky count etc. But I think I can get to grips with this one eventually, it feels more natural, it will take me a while to get the feel for it but I think I prefer this one. Thank you Reid, looking forward to following your videos and tutorials you have a very easy going nature, and I think I will learn a lot from you, thanks again, and I look forward to the next lesson
Thanks a lot Eddie! That really means so much!🤘🏻 I’m glad you found my channel I think my breakdowns and tutorials will help you learn properly and efficiently. The strike double lift is the best imo. Send me a message if you need any help.
The double lift is the thing that made me want to start learning cardistry and card tricks. Watching David Blaine (who must've traded his soul for a perfect double lift) and how smooth he made it look... just amazing. You're completely right that the magic of it is that people don't even think of it and technically you aren't hiding anything, you're showing them two cards just in the way you want them to see it. That subtle manipulation of the truth is what makes magic so poetic. Thanks for the tutorial :)
The strike double lift is probably the most natural double lift out there because when you turn the two cards over it’s like turning a page over in the book. I can do the strike double lift but I do a slight variation of it when I turn the two cards over I get a pinky break and the back end of the two cards that are closest to me are probably 1/3 to 1/2 off the deck.
Good tutorial. Like all the intricacies that you taught which aren't always covered in other tutorials. And yes it's all about practice. Find I can do a decent strike double with practice, but if I don't practice I lose the touch. Anyway you've got yourself another subscriber.
Thanks man, welcome and I really appreciate that! This was the first video I every made and I sometimes think about taking it down because I cringe a bit when I watch it😂 glad to know it’s still providing value to people, it’ll stay up!
