During 2017 or so I played a random online game on aoe2hd. It was a 3v3 lobby, after a guy with my team left during the start of the game I decided to just troll the whole game and in particularly my team mate by walling his city (the map was fortress). After a while I eventually resigned too but kept spectating the game. The guy managed to win the game 3vs1 in a extraordinary way I would never expect. I only realised after the game it was Theviper himself XD

Is that rubble feature new? I don't remember that being there back in the days. Back then when you delete something, it goes away instantly.

@@majungasaurusaaaa Yea it came with the remaster so it's been here for a few years now. There was a match on T90's channel where someone actually won literally last second with a wonder because the building turning into rubble still counted. Think it was the custom romans vs barbarians map? Not sure though.

@@Siddios This has serious consequences in competitive play when one has to delete buildings to get vils out ASAP.

@@majungasaurusaaaa It's not as serious, it's already a thing for a few years now. The chances of this seriously influencing something are slim to almost non-existant. And who deletes their buildings to ungarrison units?? First time I heard of that.

@@Siddios It happens frequently in play. Just like with Viper in this vid. Usually, when enemy units have broken into to your palisaded woodline/mine you need to evacuate instantly. The vils are bunched up tightly. A second delay due to rubble blocking means a dead vil.
