It would be difficult to digest to most youngsters, that all the above features were missing in those days.

Approach unlock and leave away lock feature consume a lot of battery of key fob. I had to turn off these features on mg hector plus as remote battery wasn't lasting even 4 months.

Tbh this feature might seem a bit old but it's very useful in case of an accident just imagine that you get into an accident and you car stops functioning how are you gonna exit if you have automatic locks however it will be better to adapt a better design for these types of door locks

the maruti wala lock system is also used in rolls royce and many other luxury car brands.
