I came down on vacation Memorial Day weekend and met you both at your store. Just wanted to say thank you both for being genuinely helpful, taking the time to give a surf fishing crash course to someone with zero experience, ultimately leading to success every morning and making memories me, my wife, and daughter can cherish forever! Oh, and some tasty pompano lunch from one day’s success!
Not only are you a great fisherman in your own right, but you are a terrific husband for letting Courtney catch her own sharks, and you are a fantastic dad for encouraging Annalise to catch her own fish. What a terrific video! It was fun to watch!!
Your daughter is stealing the show ... she is learning to have her own channel, one of these days! She already has the charm!!! The next Bindi Irwin!🥰🥰🥰
i loved it when your daughter was shouting out to courtney how to reel in that last shark. she was the star in this video. family fishing beats tourney fishing to me hands down. perfect video.
Bro love this one. Courtney on the second shark which was much bigger than the first one looked like a veteran angler. Keeping a tight line wearing the shark down, leaning into her butt, using that leg power as well. Congrats Courtney. Your daughter absolutely enjoying the experience. She's going to be a fisho.
Awesome hubby being right there encouraging her every minute letting HER do it , but there , if she needed you ♡♡♡♡ ..great job she did too..😊 having her daughter there encouraging her too was epic..xo this grandmother enjoyed your video much ! Hugs from Florida !
Great job Courtney congrats on the shark you handled it like a pro and the thumbs-up to Analyse won't be too much longer and she'll be doing it all on her own👍
Probably my favorite videos so far. Your daughter is precious and you're doing a good job of including the family in on your hobby. If only you could teach Brandt how to fish like your daughter. Maybe she can help him out on his next trip😊
Great job, Courtney!!! This was an awesome video, Matt. Nice family memory to have in the vault. I'm sure Annalise will remember the fish she caught, the precious time spent with the two of you, and the sharks her mom fought for the rest of her life.
Great video…. Some much fun to watch the enjoyment and excitement that your wife and daughter had. Truly what time spent with family in the outdoors, fishing and enjoying the fun of being on the beach in nature. 😊😊😊👍👍👍
Matt good coaching beginners need the instruction.I think you do a great job teaching Courtney the basics. She's a good listener and will soon improve her understanding of angling. She has a great attitude.
Matthew, another fantastic video. Good to see whole family participating in the fishing experience.. BTW, Analyse’s fish was a Butterfish.,very good eating fish were a staple fish for us back in ‘60’s in Va.
This was one of your best videos ever with your family. I loved every second of it. Your daughter stepped up. Your wife totally took over shark fishing loved everything about this video. I can’t wait for the next one catch clean, cook!
Having been born and raised in our area of the Gulf Coast it was fun to watch you and your family just put a whoopin on some sharks and whiting, with a smidgen of bluefish. So much fun. It seems like a lifetime ago since the State Park Pier was torn in half. Spent years with family and friends catching practically everything the Gulf has to offer. Hopefully, if rumors are true, we will get the pier back to its original design.. The Octi is an awesome place when the Kings, Spanish and Reds are being caught in great numbers. Wow. The excitement and pandamonia is a sight to seen...Thank you Matthew for your good nature and willingness to share your fishing adventures and family with us. Truly, you have made a home of the Coast. Respectfully, An Ole Soldier.
So glad you're spending time with the family. My oldest son and hunting/fishing buddy is welding on the pipeline near Dallas. Spending time together is a little more difficult but wish him the best on his career choice!
What beginners need to understand is the trick to fishing is to keep a steady line tension on the hook in the fishes mouth. When it runs, the bail keeps the right tension. When it stops, you pull and reel down at a steady tension. When it runs toward you, you reel like heck to regain that line tension.
Congratulations to Courtney on landing two sharks, and to Annelise (sp?) on her fish. And congratulations to both of you on involving the whole family, coaching both mom and daughter and making it fun for them -- and for you, as well.
Another GREAT video and a solid testament to the effectiveness of Cross Fit. Courtney definitely has “Cross Fit” legs! Annalise (sp?) is a fantastic coach, by the way!! 😜
