Never tell this SILVER Doomfist "GG" | Spectating Overwatch 2 

Nobody talks about how doom is basically an anime character. Other heroes have actual voice lines for abilities, doom just says “Seismic Slam!” “Rocket Punch!” “Meteor Strike!” 😂 it’s probably why he got Saitama skin 😂

These games are way, way more entertaining than any owl league game. Seriously tho

This doom performed excellently (from a support pov!) They dove in, did some damage, got some kills, and come back for heals. They look like the perfect tank to play with!

He's definitely better than Silver and should climb if he plays like that and improves, as well as avoid the urge to constantly counter-pin

Doomfist has an embarrassingly weak ultimate if you don't catch someone within it's inner damage sphere. Aside from many bugs and the animation not lining up with when you take damage, the outer sphere of Doomfist's ultimate does somewhere between 100 - 15 damage. Sadly it's not surprising, but normal to see the Sojourn survive that ultimate.

Bro I just wanted to keep screaming at my screen "STOP PUNCHING REIN, TAKE HIGH GROUND" We've all been there; awesome to see a Doom gameplay spectated and to hear Emongg's takes!!!

He's actually pretty damn decent, I can easily see him climbing out of Silver and making some headway in comp. He's pretty damn solid at the basics. The basics take you everywhere.

I've noticed that dooms ult is hit or miss sometimes. There have been times where I've killed a 200+ hp hero from 10 feet away with it. And another when I crash down directly on Tracers or Widows head and all I do is push them aside. It's never reliable.

Silver Doom is like t500 Doom for me. I can't play that hero for the life of me. So I'll just sit back and enjoy the show cause I sure don't know anything about how to properly play him or what to improve 😂😅

A couple things here as a fellow doom player from a perspective, he strength in good prioritization on which player should die first and more importantly his cancels are very decent. However, there are points where they have the advantage but decide to put themselves in unfavorable positions such as third point of escort where he could have contested the cass and get a potential pick and then keep the round at a 4v4 until their Ashe gets back. Also, one minor nitpick from me is you don’t need to cancel the slam if you’re within range of the enemies as your escaping because what will happen if you don’t do that is you get the damage getting out and that ult charge builds up and that situation depends if you got ult and if you do, you can go immediately aggro and put immense pressure on those supports, which is your main focus. There are also points where you have been playing too passive on those decision making ideas in a middle of a team fight where those instances can be used to be creating space (note that it’s also fine because you’re keeping yourself alive which is value for yourself and the team). That’s said, nice gameplay overall, he’ll get there eventually 👍

That last Doom ult there, Doom have a tendency for his CDs and abilities to not register it's insane. I play Doom too and sometimes my slam and punch wont register. I rocket punch, either it doesn't stun the enemy or the enemy just slides away, I slam, the enemy won't even get a dent. Doom can be buggy af sometimes it's crazy.

This doom peels way more often then most other dooms I see in comp, and I like it.

Meteor strike is so hit and miss in how it works/kills. I’ll be on the outer ring full health and immediately die from it but see someone else survive almost a direct hit and have 50% hp still. Other times I’ll survive when I’m sure I should be dead.

i would say dooms ult at the end was a no reg. the dmg sojourn gets is from the coal, and his landing did 0 dmg, maybe its the spot, the little edge on the side, but clearly a bug i would say

If I didn't see the title I wouldn't have guessed this guys silver. He's better than most diamond dooms I see. Maybe less focus on tank and I bet he'll climb alot

Punching in and slaming out is actually a good engagement you don't always have to just slam in and punch out as long as when you slam out your slam is hitting the enemy team its pretty much doing the same thing

From my experience if you jump while getting punched you'll go to the moon. The distance really is inconsistent.

first round on defense he was constatly going for punches on rein, second round he ignored the orisa as much as he could and went for Ashe, Torb, LW, the results were better because of that, and at the end the other team going lucio zen, cherry on top

Doomfist Ultimate Since Overwatch 2 was pretty much shadow nerfed, it’s hella inconsistent and 90% of the time only one shots squishes if they’re perfectly lined up in the centre of the ult… 21:40

The orisa pick absolutely cost them the game. The silver rein made it so that the doom fucked himself by constantly counter charging, the rein kept making mistakes and the doom fixed them by misplaying worse. The orisa was a BAD orisa and meant that doom was no longer doing bad counter charges and could show off their good cool down and combo usage. If the rein had stayed rein, they'd have probably won that. Nothing to do with the doom imo

Honestly this player isn’t half bad. Lots of potential especially if they play Doom like that. Good CD usage good use of cover. ABUSE HG against horse!! But other than that pretty solid.

He definitely deserves higher than silver, played better than some of the dooms I get in diamond😂

As a gold 5 doom main I thought he punched out way too many times and he could've been more aggressive but other than that he looks good

No joke, this doom is better than 70% of the dooms on my teams and I'm in diamond 2. Dooms in my rank never learn when to back away from a fight so they end up getting snowballed constantly

So after watching this it only convinced me more that sr system is BS I wish I would players like him in my plat teams

To be fully honest I think I was the one in the game who said GG first round and I did it cos I zoned out and forgot there was a second round

Rein is so bad against doom. Ima diamond doom. My only recommendation is you have to actually dive. Especially at the very start of the cart. Harass the backline supports. Rein will be no help, and if he does get close, you win the engagement most the time. When you have ult you are unstoppable in the backline. Remember that. 10:09 bro you have wall hacks, full health, and your ult. Please dive in there. Let a support or widow sit on the cart. Take map control. Be a pest.

My problem with the doom buff, was it didnt make doom better. It just made people already good eith doom better. And people already good with doom were a menace and didnt need any help lol

People in the comments saying he's better than silver, i think high silver low gold is ok for his performance, he got the mechanics, he knows when to punch in and when to bail, he finish kills correctly, but he's doing a lot of mistakes, not using high ground is really bad for doom, when the enemy is taking high ground your job as doom is to deny that advantage, easier said than done yeah but that's the dive hero he is, target priority is fine for the most part but punching rein over and over gets us nowhere, and the less talk about punching a gold orisa the better XD, over all the player is a fine gold doom that need a bit more awareness and better target priority and oh HIGH GROUND

My gold lobbies get rolled by worse dooms than this. This guy's gonna do fine

I have no idea how this guy is silver. My very first time playing ranked ow2 and having only played quickly until I leveled up to unlock it, and I'm platinum 1 on tank?? I don't think I'm this good though
