Thank you SOOO much! It was the holding program while inserting the last battery that I did not do and was causing the lock not to operate properly! So stressful but finally fixed.
I purchased one off of Amazon and rekeyed the cylinder myself to my old keyway. This way I didn't have to make and cut a bunch of keys for family members. Which was pretty easy. The only thing I will pass on is, to follow the installation instruction to the T. I've worked on locks and I know what I'm doing when it comes to installing. But I had to remove the lock on three different occasions, but I didn't follow the instructions.
Hey Brett love your videos. Just a tip if you ever need to drill out a larger hole saw again. Most hole saw brands allow you insert smaller hole saw within a larger hole saw to use as a drill guide. If that doesn't work you can also use the original hole saw size to cut out a piece of wood to use as a guide dowel within the larger hole saw.
I installed the Lockly Secure to my door and it fits perfectly in it. I love the way it is designed and most especially its featured system! Can't wait for their Lockly Vision, I will definitely purchase that.
I have a lockly door latch and I am able to unlock it using my voice on Google either on my Google smart devices or on my phone. What I noticed was for example if my code was 2244 and when Google asks me for the code and I say two two four four, it wouldn't work but if I said twenty two forty four then it works.
Great review Brett. That's a bummer about the secure link. My outlet (luckily) is about 3-4 feet away. Although I don't use it that often. My favorite is the fingerprint reader. So fast!
good video. Is it possible to link two of these locks and when one unlocks the other unlocks too? Is this function in-built or do u have to do it in alexa, google?
Thanks for the review - does the log indicate which actual user locked / unlocked the door? It the video, it looks like it just said "unlocked manually" or "unlocked by mobile"
13:25 there’s a 6th, use a hammer or another heavy/strong object, break the glass panel to the right of the door (the one a the same height of he lock) reach through and unlock the door manually. (To prevent injury to yourself first ensure you remove all broken glass from the window frame)
We have guns laws in most states where if someone is on your property and/or breaking into your home or car, you have every right to shoot them and kill them. Texas is definitely this way, but other states have similar laws.

The only thing draws me back for this lock is it only nofity you in phone when the door is open or close, it will not notify you when it lock or unlock..??
Did you try to take the battery cover off to see if it helps the 5 foot range from the plug around the corner. I wonder if the cover is blocking the reception from the side.
Good video mate , that must have been a lot of work to make that video , and nice warts and all on the install :) , i usually get myself into trouble doing installs on stuff that come with instructions , as soon as the box is open the instructions get chucked aside , i say to myself " i can do this " ........ 2 hours later after i have failed miserably .... " dam where are those instructions " :) .
I noticed you did not install the door censor? We just purchased ours and it has a door censor in the box. Was your version not equipped with the censor or did you leave it out?
Hey brett, have been using this lock for a year and a half. I have nothing but trouble, moisture getting inside and it is under a porch, many times the remote wifi connection does not connect and it is 3 feet from the hub and hub is less than 10' from a fiber optic router. Lockely has replaced once. I use on short term rental, the long access code has been very frustrating to many of my guests consistently. I have asked and asked if i can use a shorter code and Lockely continually says no, add the numbers to the double push of their ok button to access and end with one ok push, many guests get very frustrated. My place is is in a colder climate and it struggles with that as well. Overall I would never recommend to anyone due to my reality and feedback from many guests and I mean many. I switched it over to key access due to constant complaints and now think I am going to replace with Eufy S230 which allows as few as 4 number code which lockely does not. I know there is no perfect thing but there should be less difficulty on an on going basis. thanks for your great videos
I love the lock, but absolutely hate the secure link system. The difference between the lock and the router location is just too sensitive for my outlet setup. It's a real bummer.

I read all of the comments and watched most of the video - just sped through the installation part. 1) when I close the door, does the deadbolt auto lock? 2) I don’t understand the secure link issue ppl are discussing and the need to have an outlet nearby. Can you explain? Thanks so much!
1. Yes there is a setting where the door will automatically lock after a few seconds. You can set a custom amount of time to when it locks. 2. The Secure Link needs to be in direct line of site of the the lock and within 10 feet to give it smart home functions. The lock works without the Secure Link.
I like the lock but as you stated, if you have a left swing door, the gap between the door and the fingerprint scanner is too close. Maybe they should move the finger print part down or make it narrower. Also I wasn't impressed with the wifi range. Hopefully they have fixed that issue.
I am also finding the range of the secure link device to be very short. I have it in direct line of sight to the lock and definitely less than 10 feet and it is still a struggle to get it to work and connect. About the google home assistant, I was able to lock and unlock the device by voice. The first few times Google would say the pin was incorrect but then it started working, so I can do it by voice.
The voice feature with the google home is trendy real good. I have never encounter any problem with the wifi hub so far, during the installation their customer service helped me set up over the phone.
Why is that the auto lock doesnt work when I use the key or when I use the code to enter. It works again only if I remove the 4th battery and press the reset again, bs smart
With this type of screen does anyone know how it fairs up against harsh weather conditions, rain heat etc? What about notification I've been told there are none for when the locked is unlocked or open or someone tried to enter a code and it didn't work.

So I just purchased this for my front door, I was just curious if anyone has it as well but lives in a cold climate? I live in MN which snows and can get cold depending on the year, I found online it's good for -4 degree only so I'm kinda nervous now since MN has gotten to -10 or colder. Or if you know if this product works well in way colder temps.
Tech With Brett thank you. I want the lock to work well. I do have a outlet right by my door, so maybe connectivity won’t be a problem. I’m very torn between Lockly Secure Pro and Yale Touchscreen. They both have things i like, Lockly is the fingerprint and the many ways to unlock in case of issues that attracts me. The Yale is the design and how smart it is with the auto unlocking and easy to use, I’m just afraid that a glitch might happen and since there’s no backup key, I will be lockout of my house . Please help 😭😭😭
Ok, so if your in your home and have medical emergency and call 911 -- how to 'OPEN' the front door to let 911 people in? Is there a lock that can be used for this purpose?

The wifi hub is a major dealbreaker for me, so another disappointing solution that will not work for my application. It was the main reason, I returned the august pro locks.
For Alexa is terrible, you need to say the password, so insecure!!! It's an amazing locker, but have two big issues, the fingerprint access is to close to the door and it's too obviously that there's a key option, so it's easy to break-in.
wow what a mess, not worth drilling a hole through your door when any other brand will work.. and no unlocking with google assistant? this is a no for me...
It's worth all the work though. As long as you'll have the best security for your home. Been using Lockly Secure Pro in a while now and all I can say is that it does the job, securing your house and is so convenient.
Seems cheap and also vulnerable to being hacked or physically defeated. Couldn't someone just pry the whole thing off the outside of the door with a screwdriver? No thanks.
Wow 28:00 well this lock is absolutely useless if you can't unlock with google assistant. That's the whole point of a smart lock, sitting on the couch to unlock the door to let someone in, unlock the door in the car using assistant when you're hands are full of groceries. What's the point!? Trash.
