You have such a soft touch when applying makeup. It's very refreshing in a sea of high glam makeup being shown. I mean, I think they are pretty, but it's not something I'm going to wear so your approach is so much more practical to me. What a curated eye shadow selection. Simple, basic shades that seem to be formulated to work on anyone. I tend to not wear gray because they often look very stark on me, but I feel that Smokey Grey would be a great crease/liner shade for me. And I love Patina.

Patina looks so good to me. It’s like a burnished gold but more cool toned. I have cool olive undertones so warmer golds aren’t the most flattering. Actually they are all beautiful with different nuances then I normally see.

20% off this weekend!! I love love love Bobbi Brown and her philosophy - unfortunately I’ve never been comfortable being so “natural”. Bobbi was the first high end foundation, eyeshadow, blush, concealer etc. The eyeshadows are great because they’ve easy to “pat” onto the eye, which is such a great thing I learned since the windshield wiper motion doesn’t work for my eyes, ever (maybe when I was 20 but I’m 51 now). I’m excited to try these shadows but it’s difficult to choose now that they have so many more colors - the dark brown scared me at first but I’m sure it can be used lightly to define my eyes. I like dark brown, smoky gray and Ash. I feel like mattes are harder to find good ones and these seem unique, although I love the shimmers too.

Hey!! The shadows are very easy to use. I like them much better than the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics ones. These are far easier to use. Dark Brown is my favorite to line my eyes. To your point with a light had it defines the eyes beautifully. Cream and chic are great for all over the eyes to brighten. If you are lighter than me like porcelain or light skin chic is great if your like me or deeper Cream is great too. Ash is amazing for eye definition and under the bottom Lash Line 😊

I had no interest in powder shadows until I saw this video. You make it look so simple and the results are beautiful. Which brush should I start off with if I just bought one? I’ll decide which shades when I watch the video again. Thank you for doing all that.

🥰 Hey! So I would say to start with the eye fluffy brush. It's perfect to lay down color, blend, and if you turn it on to the side you can work it into then crease. The brushes are sooo soft yet get the work done 💕

Hey!! So chic, ash, and dark brown would be staples in your makeup. So Pretty would be that really beautiful pop of color and sparkle. ❤❤

Thank you for this. I need Patina 😮 My favorite cool toned "Bronze" was from BB, and it was a holiday quad. I still keep it, it's been 7 years probably. I just love how fine and creamy it is. But it didn't apply thick, and it was so forgiving to creasing. Some creamy powder shadows get very emollient on the lids. The only thing I've ever come close to it's texture was from a one cream-colored metallic shadow Zuri (Juvia's Place).

@@jodigonzales419 I know, they're all lovely. I think you should go for Cream, for all-over lids, covering veins/redness if you have any. Patina (neutral, every day) or Penny (more sunkissed) both appear to be one-and-done shadows.

@@jodigonzales419 hey!! If your fair I'd say Chic as all over wash and brow highlight, Ash in your crease (and brows) and Penny will make your blue eyes pop...Patina will also give you a nice pop. And Dakr Brown as liner. 🥰

You're welcome for the time stamps!! I wanted to really break it down and make it easy if anyone wanted specific shades. But these shadows are creamy and so bendable. I think the formula better than the BB. I always found some shades chalky and the Metallics were pretty good. (I freelanced for them for 9 years) I definitely think you'll like these a lot 😁

Thanks so much for your videos. As a Latina with similar coloring, it's very helpful to see how one of my favorite brands will look on me. I'm wondering if you have any issues with fallout on the mascara? I really like it, but almost every time after applying, it feels like a little bit falls into my eye. Otherwise, it really is lovely on.

Hey!! Thank you so much🥰 I haven't had any fall out with the mascara. I wipe off a little of the excess on the side of the tube though and coat the lashes a few times. I don't find that I need to redip the mascara either. It's one of my favorite mascaras because actually hold my lashes up❤

Hey!! I think Chic would be great for an all over wash, Ash is great for the crease, and Bronze for the lids. You can do dark brown for eye liner and so pretty would be beautiful for a sparkle 💕

Hey!! Hmm, I'd have to check with what I have to compare. I haven't used Marc Jacobs eyeshadows. These are creamy, bendable and not chalky which is nice. They're pretty buildable too. The closest I can say is almost like Laura Mercier maybe. I have a palette years ago...and these shadows remind me of LM. Very buttery 💕💕

😁 those two colors are the best!!! If you like a little sparkle go with so pretty. The sparkle is not chunky either its so tasteful and ethereal. If you prefer more of a metallic finish Patina is it. But you'll be happy either way....and if you like eyeliner....BCITW or Dark Brown💕💕💕
