Thanks Dave for showing this trailer with the slide in. Having easy access to the frig and bathroom while on the road is a very important feature for us. This will be our next RV!!
My wife and I look forward to your videos and especially the humor you add. We are retired and hoping to get a small travel trailer camper sometime this year.... Have you ever considered going around to local campgrounds and interviewing people actually camping and/or living in travel trailers? We think you could make even more awesome videos doing things like that..... Also, please never stop making videos. You are so good at what you do.
Thanks to you and your wife for such kind words. I get mean ones from time to time, but comments like this keep me going. We live in a time where being kind to others is uncommon, especially strangers. I’d love to do interviews like you’re talking about. Hopefully covid will disappear soon, and we can get back to normalcy. That would be a great time to start adding interviews to my videos. I’ve been wanting to go to Indiana to do videos on the construction of campers. Maybe this summer. Thanks again Paul for your kind words. Stay warm and blessed my friend
Thanks for showing it with the slide in - we looked at one of these yesterday to replace our Rpod. We didn't think to ask the salesman to put the slide in to see the walkway area while we were there. Helpful!
So glad they added windows on the ends of the slide. They listened! That's what I didn't like about the earlier version. Thanks for your informative reviews.
I pick up mine in April . We traded in our 31 Foot because it was to long for the remote camping we like in Northern Ontario. More room in there then I imagined with the slide in. Thanks for the video.
hello from the very wet and vibrant ozarks dave!! thats a great asset to have the slides in and have that much room! enjoyed my cup of fresh hot columbian on your detail tour! tight lines and cheers!!
Dave .... Great video. A really nice unit .... I'll just have to overcome the closed Murphy bed with that nice sofa in the slide when I need a break at the Rest Area. I think I can handle that !!! Thanks so much .....
Hit it out of the park with this one!!! It is just like our ordered one but 2x the weight...and this one has bigger tanks...so Im guessing its 8ft wide? I like the recliner couch too.
If you hook up cable est under the outside storage area ? When shut the door the gasket around the door will it shut tight enough to stop rain from coming in and will stretch the gasket. Hope all is well with you and the family.
I really appreciate your videos, Dave! My husband and I are about to buy an RV for the first time. We really like this model and the Micro Lite 22fbs. Do you know if a Tacoma could pull either of these? We are about to buy a new truck and would prefer a Tacoma, but will splurge for a Tundra if necessary.
Sorry for delay. I own a Tacoma, my brother has a Tundra. If I were going to pull a camper I am 100% Tundra. Especially if you go up and down hills, you'll be glad you have the extra size truck.
Dave, where do you plug in your coffee maker, toaster, etc. I see no plugs on that kitchen counter. As a matter of fact, could you please include in your helpful videos just that on future ones? So many rigs do not have counter plugs, which is a big deficit for my wife.
There are 3 outlets for the countertops. One on the rear, middle (which is under the cabinets) and one in the front of the counter near the trailer light switch.
Don't like that GD's have a laminate floor instead of a 5/8 inch plywood floor PLUS their whole R30floor and R40 roof is total B.S. Also, you can't sit or lay in the slide out while it's retracted in...will damage the mechanism.
I have been trying to think of something that would fit in that weight range and still give you 500-800lbs for cargo. I am drawing blanks. I hope to go to RV show in 2 weeks. Hopefully I will find some ideas there
