I'd just like to mention that leveling up gear is usually worth at all stages because you can feed the leveled up gear to newer, higher tiers. I believe you get 90% of the exp towards the new piece.

Even if you lvl up a tier 7 or tier 8 gear to lvl 5, later down the line just use it as fodder to lvl up ur tier 9 gear. So it’s technically not even that big of a waste in terms of progression.

What sucks is getting full clears on interception and getting no end game rewards 3 consecutive times per day

It's always fine to level up gear. Worst case you can use the upgraded gear to upgrade other gear. Manufacturer gear can unlock some extremely OP combos, for example manufacturer gear Modernia allows here to drop the hit rate cube and use Bastion Cube instead. Bastion Cube on higher levels gives her almost unlimited or close to unlimited Ammo before her next burst is ready, so no more DPS waste on reloading. Also important, once you use the manufacturer upgrade the item is bound to that character. Upgrade your DPS characters first, upgrades on Supports are mostly neglectable for progress.

Just starting my T9 gear grind have been blessed with Pilgrim Attacker Gauntlets and Chest. Still have not rolled an SSR but can't really be mad

TLDR: Just get lucky 4head. It's a shame but that's all there is to it. I finally got an overload head piece for Modernia and it gave me charge speed and charge damage -_-

I just started playing about a month ago, and that's what I've been doing with my gear. I upgrade it maybe 1 or 2 levels for my A and B teams to clear content, and when I can get access to higher tiers, I pass the old gear down from high to low priority characters and then scrap the rest for EXP. Since I'm just moving from early to mid game (chapter 15), I'm going to have to hold onto Tier 7 and 8 stuff for a little bit.

I think manufacturer gear at max level is barely stronger than generic gear one tier up, but I mean barely. They're very close and if you level up that higher tier gear one time it'll be better.

I was wondering if you could make a priority list or something on who should be overloaded. Besides the obvious dps, are there other units to think about? Maybe any supports?

I will share my own experience. I always max leveled all the highest gear tier i had at any moment of scarlet since she is my main dps and most of the time to progress its due to lack of dmg more than survivability. And then after i get new higher tier gear for scarlet her old gear just go to my second dps and so on until every attacker nikke have better gear then i just feed this old gear. I dont think this was a waste. I managed to progress where i am now and i am getting T9 manufacrurer and overloads to continue

I am totally stuck on stage 15 in tier 7 gear and all my nikke are at level 150. i feel like im only going to be able to login and collect stuff for a month before im able to have all 160s and try to progress anywhere. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

If you upgrade a normal T9 gear without any manufacturer bonus to T10, will it still receive a manufacturer bonus?
